This new column will function as a sort of “Letters to the Editor” section, where readers can submit questions to our staff. In addition, I will use it to announce credit or submission mistakes when they are made by The Daily SPUF, so that each author is given the attention and credit they deserve.

To submit a question about the blog, TF2, or anything else: simply login, click the +New button, write your question in the title, and provide further information if necessary in the body. Make sure to mark the Category “Dear Aaby” in the upper right-hand category box. (Note that staff members other than aabicus may answer questions, we just couldn’t pass up the pun.) Note that your article will not be visible to the public until a staff member has written a response.

And now for the first three mistakes:

-On September 22, 2013 the article “Some Other Reasons the Crusader’s Crossbow is my Favorite Primary” attributed the wonderful picture of the Robo-Medic to FeelGoodInc. The actual image creator was Nethero.

-On November 11, 2013 the article “The Great Heavy Skill Floor and The Not-So Great Heavy Skill Ceiling” was published under Medic’s name, and remained credited to her for a number of weeks. The actual author was gbindahouse.

-On December 8th, 2013 the Daily Article “On the Direct Hit” by icefuse went its entire 24 hours of being featured without being stickied to the main page. It has been stickied now and will remain stickied until pushed off the page on December 16.

The Daily SPUF apologizes for these errors. We always strive to maintain the highest standards of quality and will quickly fix any mistakes if brought to our attention. Please let us know if you notice other errors in attribution.

Thanks.
