Co-Op Conflict

The “Last Chance Trial” was a final demo before Nioh’s full release. In case it wasn’t obvious, I played the HELL out of it and enjoyed every second and did everything you possibly could once again. After I’d done that I decided I wanted to help as many people enjoy Nioh as possible. So I jumped online to help those who desperately sought it, being summoned as a visitor to aid my invoker. I helped 15-20 players conquer the demo… I even helped one or two people who had previously died by my side succeed! Many claps, bows and whistles… [Continue Reading]

Change is (mostly) Good but Tearful

Longest day today. Now it all gets shorter. Anyway. I’ve owned The Binding Of Isaac, the original flash game, on Steam for a while. Only really played it a little, but I always adored it. The art had its own style, a thick, bordered style that I’ve often used for my own art. The layout was simple. No, this article isn’t about any personal bias of mine. As much as I truly loathe Scouts, I’m a Soldier main when I’m not playing Medic, so there’s no bias here. Well, maybe a little. But still. But if I’m truly honest, Medics could probably do with a little nerf as well. More on that later. Back when early competitive TF2 started, the community quickly worked out that having too many Demomen slowed down the game, so he was limited to one. After EotL, there wasn’t much hope in the TF2 community. But Valve brought a small amount of hope back with the 2014 Smissmas update. And what did it contain? Those promised Demoman changes from the Love and War update! You all remember that, right? The changes that broke him and made Engineers run rampant that they thankfully reversed? This time round, Valve actually thought about it AND listened to the community! First off, here’s the patch notes. I warn you now, it’s a biggie! All Players who play TF2 during the event will receive a Gift: a Stuffed Stocking! Stockings… [Continue Reading]

Altering the Invisible Man.

The Spy, a class of deceit, subterfuge, and sabotage. He holds in his arsenal: a knife capable of killing anything in one hit, a gun in case he’s caught in a bad situation, an electro-sapper to destroy enemy fortifications, a disguise kit to seamlessly blend in with the enemy, and finally a collection of watches capable of rendering him completely invisible. Those watches are pivotal to everything the spy can do. His disguise kit is useless without being in the right position; a position only reachable by an invisible man. His knife only has strength from behind. How can he… [Continue Reading]
