I Don’t Know How To Mod Any More

In my absence from playing Warframe regularly, something has happened. It seems that my weapons are weaker than they used to be. Or, rather, they don’t go as far as they used to. Over the years, enemy balance hasn’t changed that much, but there is more and more content that starts at higher levels and there are more enemies that can ignore you. Eximus in particular are immune to most forms of crowd control, and are harder to bring down. As for me though, I haven’t really reacted to these changes, and am still using the same old gear. Now,… [Continue Reading]

On Using Low Forma Warframe Builds

I don’t like using Forma on my Warframes. Having done so much leveling stuff up over the years, I generally dislike the idea of having to level something again. I’m Legendary Rank 2 and have done my fair share of leveling things up, and using Forma means exactly that, more leveling. I also dislike having things that are not leveled up, they look messy in my arsenal, and the only weapons I allow to be under-leveled are Kuva and Tenet weapons, which require five Forma EACH. While I don’t mind leveling weapons that much, I really dislike leveling Warframes for… [Continue Reading]

My Favourite Picks from the Warframe Soundtrack

I love Warframe’s soundtrack. It’s always been a standout part of Warframe as a whole, and the music really gives the game an edge. But there are certain tracks that I feel go above and beyond. Songs that get stuck in my head all the time. Here are some of my favourites. Sleeping in the Cold Below I actually kinda missed this song in Call of the Tempestarii. When it came out, I thought Sleeping in the Cold Below was awesome, and I did write an article about it. However, when I played the Call of the Tempestarii quest, I… [Continue Reading]

The Lotus – A Mistake Was Made

It’s been a while since I played The New War. I kinda rushed through the quest because I didn’t really playing as Drifter. I was also rather annoyed at how little war was actually in The New War. Sure, we had things like Scarlet Spear, Chimera Prologue, Apostasy and the Murexes leading up to The New War, but these events were far too spread out to have any meaningful impact on the New War itself. But while I played and eventually finished The New War, I realized that I had made a massive mistake. Before I continue, if you haven’t… [Continue Reading]

Theories on Warframe: Whispers In The Walls

Warframe’s next major quest-like update, Whispers in the Walls, was teased as the first part of Tennolive 2023, and there’s a lot of mystery to it. We saw only a glimpse of what’s yet to come, and what we have seen is actually kinda terrifying. In an eldritch horror sort of way. So let’s theorize about what this stuff will be like. The very first thing I want to mention is the opening cinematic, with Albrecht Entrati getting into that machine, before his assistant whacks it with a hammer. We actually see Loid waking up from inside an almost identical… [Continue Reading]

Steel Path is Boring

Currently, in Warframe, I am actually missing a few nodes. I haven’t been able to play Arbitrations, because there are nodes I haven’t unlocked yet. Well, there’s four nodes, three on the Zariman and one on Lua. But I also haven’t done these nodes on the Steel Path either. Why? Because I find Steel Path boring. The Steel Path, put simply, is the normal star chart except harder. Everything is 100 levels higher and has 50% more armour and shields. The missions though are the exact same missions you get on the normal star chart. The only real difference is… [Continue Reading]

The Heirloom Collection is Straight Up Bad

During Tennocon, we were shown two new skins, one for Frost and one for Mag. These skins were really nice and came with a new type of accessory, a halo. However, we soon found out that these skins were cash only, and were filled with other items to pad out the price. The community wasn’t too happy. Now, we’ve had expensive items before. Prime Access, instant access to new Primed Warframes and weapons, is incredibly expensive. And if you wanted the Primed Accessories to go with your new Warframes, you’d have to buy the full Prime Access, which could easily… [Continue Reading]

Back on the Zariman Ten Zero

While grinding out Nightwave, I’ve had to go to the Zariman and do some missions there. Every so often there’s a Nightwave task to do “x Void Y Missions”, and none of them are particularly fun. But off I go, off to the Zariman in order to get 4500 standing for Nora. Honestly, I don’t like any of the Zariman stuff. I find it all annoying. Lore-wise, the Zariman is huge. This is the ship that got stuck in the Void, where all the adults became crazy monsters and the kids had to kill their own families. It’s where the… [Continue Reading]

Theories on Warframe 1999

Seeing the Warframe 1999 trailer at Tennocon still blows my mind. I’ve found myself watching the whole reveal of Whispers in the Walls and Warframe 1999 multiple times now, and damn it, it makes me really hyped up. I’m way more hyped up for these two than I was for both the New War and the Duviri Paradox. Okay, granted, those two updates were good, but they took a long time to actually come out, and they didn’t really match what we saw in the original trailers. While Whispers in the Walls is still rather mindblowing, I want to focus… [Continue Reading]

Revisiting Old Warframe Bosses

One of the nicer things about Nightwave is that you can end up redoing content, old and new. The same can also be said with the Tenno missions we’ve had coming up to Tennocon. Warframe has a lot of different bosses and I’ve had a chance to re-experience a good number of them. And some of them are better than others. The most recent thing I had to redo was Exploiter Orb. It was an Elite Weekly task that kept on coming up for me, so I decided to do it. Luckily, there is actually matchmaking with Exploiter Orb, even… [Continue Reading]
