A Farewell to Arms…

Farewell, buddy!
Farewell, buddy!

Last night, we received an email. Not just any email, a very special one from a very special company. In it was lots of technical jargon that I didn’t understand but aabicus did, as the email was meant for him and not me. We spent the whole night discussing the email and eventually, aabicus accepted the offer, despite him not receiving any pay for his services.

As from today, aabicus will be writing weekly for the Team Fortress 2 blog, giving us all the juicy gossip going on with the TF2 team, as well as leaking info on any new stuff coming up and bringing us interviews with esteemed members of the TF2 community. He’ll also receive free TF2 merchandise as payment, because Valve doesn’t want to actually employ him.

The Daily SPUF will continue its path with me as the head editor and thesupremecommander as the technical all-round knowledge guy. Don’t fret, while aabicus is busy being awesome, we’ll still be running this community blog. Let’s congratulate aabicus on his success and wish him a happy, TF2-Blog-ridden future!

Finally, it’s my birthday today, to feel free to tell me how awesome I am, while I weep in the corner, having lost the chance at a dream job.

Medic

Medic, also known as Phovos (or occasionally Dr Retvik Von Scribblesalot), writes 50% of all the articles on the Daily SPUF since she doesn't have anything better to do. A dedicated Medic main in Team Fortress 2 and an avid speedster in Warframe, Phovos has the unique skill of writing 500 words about very little in a very short space of time.
