How to Obtain Every Warframe, up to Yareli

Oh hey, a random guide! I managed to get every Warframe in the game, you should be able to as well! Please note that you have to build each component first, then use them to build the complete Warframe. Components (Chassis, Neuroptics, Chassis) take 12 hours to build and Warframes take 3 days to build.

Let’s get started!

Ash

Ash’s components are obtained by killing Grineer Manics, with about 30% to drop each piece. Ash’s blueprint is available in the market. The best source of Grineer Manics is Grineer Survival or Defection missions.

Ash parts now drop in Railjack missions.

Atlas

Atlas’s blueprint is obtained at the end of the Jordas Precept after defeating the Jordas Golem. His components are available by defeating the Jordas Golem on the Jordas Assassinate mission node on Eris. Archwing is required for this – the Grattler Archwing Gun and Amesha Archwing obtained in Clan Dojos help speed things up.

Banshee

Banshee’s components and blueprints are available in the Tenno Lab of a Clan Dojo. They have to be researched by the clan first.

Baruuk

Baruuk’s parts can be purchased from Little Duck in the back room of Fortuna. You need max rank with Fortuna and third rank with Vox Solaris to purchase the parts.

Caliban

The blueprint for Caliban can be purchased in the market. Caliban’s components are rewards for doing Narmer Bounties on the Plains of Eidolon and Orb Vallis. You must have completed the New War quest to be able to do Narmer bounties.

Chroma

Chroma is a pain in the backside, his blueprint being the reward for the quest The New Strange, and his components obtained by completing the Junctions for Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Keep in mind that you need an Ember Neuroptics, Frost Chassis, Saryn Systems and Volt Neuroptics to build him.

Ember

Ember’s components are rewards for defeating Sargus Ruk at Tethys, Saturn, with about 30% chance for each part per successful assassination. Her blueprint is available in the Market.

Equinox

Equinox consists of Day Neuroptics, Day Chassis, Day Systems, Day Blueprint, Night Neuroptics, Night Chassis, Night Systems and Night Blueprint, all being potential drops from defeating Tyl Regor on Titania, Uranus. You need to build the Day and Night Forms first before you can build Equinox fully. Her full blueprint is available in the Market.

Excalibur

Excalibur is a Starter Frame available as one of your choices at the start of the game. His components drop from Lt. Lech Kril on War, Mars, and his blueprint is available in the Market. Excalibur can also be bought from Teshin with 60,000 Conclave Standing, or from the Market for 75 Platinum.

Excalibur Umbra

The Umbra version of Excalibur is available as a quest reward for completing the Sacrifice. He comes complete at level 30 with an Orokin potato already installed. To do the Sacrifice, you need to have completed all main story quests, including the Second Dream, the War Within and the quest Chains of Harrow.

Frost

Frost is now available from Ceres. His components can be obtained by defeating the tag-team duo of Captain Vor and Lieutenant Lech Kril at Exta, Ceres. His blueprint is available in the Market.

Gara

Gara components can be obtained by doing Bounties for Konzu on the Plains of Eidolon, with the 4th and 5th stages having the highest chance to give a part. Her blueprint comes from the completion of the quest Saya’s Vigil. Check Bounty rewards before starting, as not all Bounties (notably low level and event Bounties) give Gara components.

Garuda

Garuda’s blueprint is rewarded at the end of the Vox Solaris quest, which can be started by talking to Eudico in Fortuna. Her component blueprints drop in the first three levels of Fortuna bounties (approx. levels 10-50), with the 4th and 5th stages having higher chances. Note that you require the rank of Cove before you can build Garuda, as she requires resources only found in the Orb Vallis.

Gauss

Gauss component blueprints are rewards from the Disruption mission on Sedna, on rotation C (all 4 conduits defended, after 2 rounds). Gauss’s blueprint is available in the Market.

Grendel

Grendel’s blueprint is bought from the Market, but his parts are obtained by doing specific level 40 missions with no mods on your weapons or Warframes. The keys to these missions can be bought for 25 Vitus Essence each from the Arbiters of Hexis in the Arbitration shop.

Harrow

Harrow’s blueprint is obtained by completing the quest Chains of Harrow. His Chassis has a chance to drop from Corrupted units in Fissure missions, his Neuroptics is a potential reward from Spy Vaults in Pago on the Kuva Fortress (with three completed vaults required) and his Systems are a reward for 8 waves of rescued Grineer in Defection missions. The Chains of Harrow quest requires completion of the War Within.

Hildryn

Hildryn’s parts drop from the Exploiter Orb. To fight her, you must go to Deck 12 (hidden in a cave on the far eastern side of the Orb Vallis) and have some diluted thermia on you. Diluted thermia can be obtained by closing 4 fractures with one coolant canister in the Orb Vallis and collecting the coolant canister at the end. Hildryn’s blueprint is locked at rank 2 of Vox Solaris, which also requires max rank with Fortuna.

The Systems come from Spy missions from Mercury to Phovos, the Chassis comes from Spy missions from Ceres to Saturn and Lua, and the Blueprint and Neuroptics come from all other Spy missions (from Uranus to Sedna).

Khora

Khora’s components and blueprint are all potential rewards from Sanctuary Onslaught. You cannot obtain Khora from Elite Sanctuary Onslaught and you must have completed the quest The New Strange. For maximum efficiency, it is best to complete Zone 8 then reset.

Lavos

Lavos’s components can be bought from Father on the Necralisk on Deimos. You’ll need to reach rank 4 to purchase all his parts, using Entranti standing.

Limbo

Limbo’s blueprint and components can be obtained throughout the quest Limbo’s Theorem, and need to be built to complete the quest. If you wish to avoid doing additional Archwing, you can hold out in the first Archwing mission and obtain 12 Fragments, enabling you to skip the other Archwing segments.

Loki

Loki’s blueprint is available from the Market, and his components are potential rewards of the Hyena Pack assassination mission on Psamathe, Neptune.

Mag

Mag’s blueprint is available from the Market, and her components are potential rewards of the Sergeant assassination mission on Illiad, Phobos. The Sergeant is really weak, making Mag very easy to obtain.

Mesa

To unlock Mesa, you need to complete the quest Patient Zero. Mesa’s components are available by defeating Mutalist Alad V on Eris. This assassination requires Mutalist Alad V Keys, which in turn require 1 Mutalist Alad V Coordinate, available from Infested Outbreak missions. It is recommended to recruit players and share keys. Her blueprint is available in the Market.

Mirage

Mirage is available upon completion of the Hidden Messages quest, and the quest requires that you build her and her components. You will need to use Dragon Keys to unlock Vaults in the Orokin Derelict to obtain Orokin Ciphers to start the quest.

Nekros

Nekros’s blueprint is available from the Market, and his components are potential rewards of the Lephantis assassination mission on Orokin Derelict Assassination in the Orokin Derelict. Orokin Derelict Assassination keys are required to do the mission, which require Lephantis Coordinates. These drop from breaking Containers elsewhere in the Derelict.

Nezha

Nezha’s components and blueprints are available in the Tenno Lab of a Clan Dojo. They have to be researched by the clan first.

Nidus

Nidus’s blueprint is rewarded upon completion of the quest The Glast Gambit. His components can be found on Rotation C (4 Rounds) of the Infested Salvage mission on Oestrus, Eris. Nidus requires Kuva to be built, and thus requires the completion of the War Within. The Glast Gambit requires you to bet credits which you can lose, so make sure to stock up on credits.

Nova

Nova’s blueprint is available from the Market, and her components are potential rewards of the Raptors assassination mission on Namaah, Europa.

Nyx

Nyx’s blueprint is available from the Market, and her components are potential rewards of the Phoroid assassination mission, which can be found on Infested Outbreak invasions on other boss mission nodes (e.g. Fossa, Venus or Illiad, Phobos).

Oberon

Oberon’s components have a chance to be dropped by Eximus enemies. Eximus enemies can reliably be found in high level missions, higher waves of endless missions (e.g. wave 10 and higher on defense) and in Eximus Stronghold missions in Sorties, but can appear in any mission type. His blueprint is available in the Market.

Oberon components are now dropped in Railjack missions.

Octavia

Octavia’s blueprint is a reward for the quest Octavia’s Anthem. Her Neuroptics is a potential reward for surviving 20 minutes in Orokin Derelict Survival, her Systems can be found in Orokin Caches in the Crossfire Exterminate mission on Plato, Lua and her Chassis is a reward for completing the Music Puzzle in non-Defense Lua missions. This Music Puzzle has a tall tower suspended above a bit and several buttons you can stand on. Copying the song that plays successfully will spawn a container at the top of the tower containing the Chassis. A second Rare Orokin Container will spawn nearby, possibly containing a Forma. Octavia’s Anthem requires the completion of the War Within.

Protea

Protea’s blueprint is unlocked as a reward for completing the Deadlock Protocol. Upon completion of this quest, if you wait in Corpus Ship tile sets, a marked miniboss will spawn, dropping a Granum Crown (Normal, Exemplar or Zenith depending on mission level). These coins can be used to access the Granum Void via the large, golden hand statues on Corpus Ships. When you enter the Granum Void, you have to kill as many enemies as possible – hitting the target scores gives a chance to drop Protea components, based on the type of Granum Crown you used to enter the Void.

Protea requires Railjack components to be built.

Revenant

Revenant has a small quest which can be started by purchasing the required mask from Nakak in Cetus. Equipping the mask and visiting the Plains of Eidolon will push the quest forward. His components are potential rewards in higher level bounties on the Plains of Eidolon. It is recommended to farm Revenant’s components first in order to complete the quest more easily.

Wukong

Wukong’s components and blueprints are available in the Tenno Lab of a Clan Dojo. They have to be researched by the clan first.

Xaku

Xaku’s components drop as rewards in bounties on the Cambion Drift. The blueprint is acquired by doing the Heart of Deimos quest.

Xaku requires Scintillant and rare Deimos resources to build. Scintillant is a rare, floating drop that appears in Isolation Vaults in the Cambion Drift, similar to Cetus Wisps on the Plains of Eidolon.

Yareli

For her components, you and your clan must build a Kit Bashing lab on your dojo. The Yareli blueprint is the reward for finishing the Waverider quest. This requires a K-Drive to complete.
