NECRAMECHS ARE SO COOL

Oh my god, Necramechs are so damn cool. I never thought I needed a massive mech in Warframe, but here I am, loving a massive mech. The Necramech is a weirdly strange contraption and it is stupidly powerful. But you need to work hard to obtain one.

The grind to get it is a pain.

To obtain your own Necramech, you need to enter Isolation Vaults, scattered across the Cambion Drift. These are located deep underground, below fleshy tunnels, filled with Infested. There’s a ton of steps just to get to the bit where the Necramech parts drop. That mostly involve killing Infested.

Then you fight a Necramech and have a chance of it dropping one of the four parts required.

It’s not just doing vaults and hoping you get weapon drops though. You also need a ton of minerals. And you need to get the blueprints to get the minerals.

Finally, when you have all your components, you have… standard Warframe building times. Twelve hours per part, 3 hours for the whole thing.

It’s totally worth it.

Despite the work required, stomping around in an unstoppable mech is a lot of fun. You just murder everything as you stomp around, throwing out mines and occasionally becoming invulnerable. There’s also the option to turn into Bastion from Overwatch except a billion times better, with two large exalted guns.

In a Necramech, nothing is a threat and everyone dies. Necramechs dominate the battlefield, towering over everyone and murdering them hard. Even Nox look tiny and pathetic next to them. The only enemies that compare are bosses and the new massive enemies on the Cambion Drift.

The Necramech appears in your Vehicle load out. It can use any Archgun with a Gravimag attached, and has an exalted pair of guns.

These things are INSANELY strong.

They are so strong that they… are kinda gamebreaking. I actually went to the Orb Vallis, to the highest level area, got to level 4 alert levels and just… murdered everything.

Necramechs are strong in a myriad of ways. They have 12 mod slots rather than the normal 8 (plus 2) that a Warframe has, and they have HUGE amounts of health. The base Necramech gun, the Mausolon, is top tier right off the bat, better than most existing Archwing guns. There are some mods for the Necramech

And then we have the new Exalted guns that the Necramech comes with. These guns do SO MUCH DAMAGE. Legitimately insane. Everything about Necramechs is insane. They have such huge… numbers on everything. They’re almost too strong for Warframe in general. And they don’t feel particularly Warframe-y either, with their gold-plated, skull-faced looks.

Necramechs are somewhat limited though.

At the time of writing, you can only use Necramechs in open areas. Which makes them somewhat limited. That being said, what you can do with them is a ton of fun. You can go and fight Tusk Thumpers and Orb Vallis spiders in proper massive robot fights, rather than a puny Warframe.

And everything else, everything else just melts away in explosions.

The question is, considering how insanely powerful these things are… what are we going to have to fight with them?
