The Phlogisticast

I’m selling my soul for advertising again but it’s for a good reason, really! You know that guy Dekky who’s been providing newbie-friendly articles around here? Well, he’s starting up a newbie-friendly podcast too! It’s also vaguely related to SPUF because I dunno, we all kinda wanted a SPUF podcast and we never got around to it. But with serial lurker Dekky, we might finally get one. And the best bit is that I’m in it, so you can all totally hear my horrible, completely-not-German-in-the-slightest, worryingly-not-Medic’s-gender voice. Oh, and you also get to hear the wonderful voices of Dekky and Nommykins (my sister), which are both much nicer and deeper than mine.

Anyway, their first episode features a lot of me, as we go over a few Medic related things, then we go on to discuss the newest update, particularly the Expiration Date short, then we discuss a few more new update things. There’s also a bunch of lovely tips for newbie Medics, which I completely didn’t steal from all the pro Medic players from SPUF.

What’s that? You want to listen? Yeah, of course you do! Why not click here then?

Hopefully, we’ll have more podcasts, one a week, each one looking at a different class. Last class we’ll discuss will be Spy since no one knows how to play Spy.

If you want to get in on the act, send a message to Dekky and he’ll sort things out. We’re always looking for people who know how to play Team Fortress 2 and are willing to share some of their expertise.

Go and listen now, or I’ll hit you with my Ubersaw!

Alternatively, go burn things.

Also known as Doctor Retvik Von Schreibtviel, Medic writes 50% of all the articles on the Daily SPUF. A dedicated Medic main in Team Fortress 2 and an avid speedster in Warframe, Medic has the unique skill of writing 500 words about very little in a very short space of time.

Our dear friend Medic made the logo and was a big help in getting the podcast started up. I think she deserves applause for her contribution. 🙂
