Coming Soon – A Week of Love and Hate 2

Well, we may have missed Valentines Day 2016, but you know what? We don’t need any commercial holidays. Love is eternal. It is everywhere. You can’t escape it. Oh also hate is eternal too. Aaaaanyway, do you remember that Valentines Day thing we did last year, a week of love and hate? I think it’s time to do another week!

Last time round, we went over classes, writing about how much we loved or loathed the nine mercenaries of Team Fortress 2. This time though, I think it’s time that we expand. Or at least change the subject. Or something like that. Sorry, I’m rambling again.

The subject this time round is your most beloved thing in Team Fortress 2 in general. Or the thing you hate most in Team Fortress 2. This isn’t just related to whatever is in the game, the subject of your Love or Hate article can be completely meta, such as the TF2 lore and why Heavy’s family are awesome, or it could be very vaguely related, like how TF2 got you into cosplaying and blogging and things like that. The sky is the limit! Perhaps even further if you decide to write about skyboxes and rd_asteroid.

You have a week to write your article. You can write an article for something you love, something you hate or both, if you wish. In fact, you can write as many love and hate articles as you wish, there’s nothing stopping you. When you finish your article, make sure you add the tag “a week of love and hate” and either the word “love” or the word “hate” to your article, depending on whether you’re writing about something you love or hate… you know what I mean.

For bonus points, try and find a way to sneak in the secret phrase! This time round, the secret phrase is slightly… different. “Aaby loves being nude.” Because he does. But we’ll take away points if you just add it as a tag.

The final date for entries is Saturday 5th March. Finished articles need to have both the correct tags and be Pending Review (i.e. in the pending section) to be included. As always, we can provide pictures if you don’t have any, so don’t worry about that. If you need any help, check out the How to Contribute page, which has all the information you need.

All love and hate articles will be published starting from Mothers Day, Sunday 6th March, until Sunday 13th March, or until we run out of articles. On the 13th, we’ll announce a winner…

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, there’s a prize at stake here! The person who writes the best article, as decided by aabicus and I, gets an article written about them, by us, saying how awesome they are. Complete with a picture (done in GMod) of them in their favourite TF2 class and loadout, in an awesome pose, battling a bunch of other TF2 characters of their choice. And maybe we’ll throw in some other stuff too, like streaming alongside aabicus or something.
