When the upgraded buddy system came out in Pokemon Go, I found it absolutely adorable. I also had a big choice to make: which Pokemon should I use as my buddy? After all, they’ll be free to wander around, I’ll be feeding them berries and they’ll be earning candy and getting various boosts, like helping catch Pokemon and ultimately get a boost in CP.
