Cheesy Index Tips To Make Millions of Credits
The Index is widely recommended as one of the best ways to earn tons of credits. It’s a simple game mode where you kill NPCs, grab the green shiny things they drop and deposit the green things into the enemy team’s goal. However, despite the simplicity, the Index can sometimes be problematic, especially if you are playing solo, or are new to the game mode. Playing in the Index removes your companions and the like, while also having limited ammo and hard-to-recover energy and health.
So here are some nice, easy and slightly cheesy methods to make the Index a little bit more fun.
Stab them in the back
One of my favourite ways of playing the Index is to use an invisible frame and watch the NPCs as they don’t shoot you but know that you’re there. However, I feel the best stealth frame here is Ash. Not only do you have invisibility but you also have the ability to instantly stab someone in the back. While Covert Lethality is basically a dead mod now, using Fatal Teleport can kill the majority of the Corpus brokers in just a couple of seconds. If you want to, you can also use the Seeking Shuriken augment, which will strip enemies of their armour as well.
Wisp and Octavia are also great options, but they’re not quite as satisfying as Ash when it comes to stabbing people.
Let your buddy do the hard work
Amusingly, although you can’t use your gear wheel and summon Specters, that doesn’t mean you’re completely on your own. Equinox, Excalibur Umbra and Wukong all have options to use AI-controlled allies. Equinox’s other side isn’t the best to use, mostly because you have to keep on switching forms to keep her other half in use. But Umbra will roam around as he pleases, shooting anyone he sees, leaving you as the Operator to run around and grab all the Index points.
However Wukong takes having a buddy all the way to the top. Not only does Celestial Twin have a large health pool, but Wukong can give himself and his clone plenty of armour, and you can zip across the maps like a puff of cloudy goodness.
Can’t score a goal if they’re unable to move
While Limbo doesn’t offer any real damage towards the Corpus brokers, it doesn’t really matter. Limbo’s Stasis and Cataclysm cost very little to use and completely stop almost all enemies going in and out. Anyone stuck inside Limbo’s bubble is basically easy money, especially when the enemies can’t fight back at all.
A nice chunk of everything
Khora is amazing in the Index. Not only can she keep her goal safe with Strangle Dome, but Khora herself packs quite a punch. Accumulating Whipclaw can be a little hard to keep up, but since you have Strangle Dome stopping enemies from scoring, you have plenty of time to get killing. You can also regain lost health with Venari, when set to heal mode. Venari does kinda tend to die a lot in Index, but the big cat is at least cheap to revive.
On top of that though, Khora is the only Warframe that can use Vacuum in the Index. All you have to do is put Fetch on Venari and you’re free to collect all those little green spots that get stuck in the map. Animal Instinct is also a good mod to have, so you can at lease see where the Corpus are. You can also end up stealing health and energy orbs, but that doesn’t matter. After all, Khora can goal-keep and kill mooks at the same time.
