5 Places to Vibe with Ivara
Sometimes, it’s just nice to chill out and do nothing. Life is hectic and complicated. Our brains can easily get overwhelmed and too much stress really isn’t good for your health. Personally, I like to play video games (mostly Warframe) to calm myself down. But occasionally, I am too tired and burnt out to even play video games. So I end up just finding somewhere peaceful to sit and relax, while also killing things. Mostly while playing Ivara.
“Why Ivara?”
It’s quite simple, really. Ivara can remain perfectly invisible for quite a long time. While standing still, you drain almost no energy. And with a high efficiency build, you have plenty of time. Ivara Prime makes staying invisible even easier, with her massive energy pool. And, on top of that, Ivara Prime is easier to get.
Just make sure you bring silenced weapons though. Shooting an unsilenced weapon will lure in enemies and break your stealth. Melee though is fine, as long as you’re not using a gunblade.
Anyway, off to our nice, calm locations.
Orb Vallis Caves
The outer layer of the Orb Vallis is very white and hard on the eyes. It’s mostly just snow, hills, mountains and roads, which aren’t the nicest to look like. However, most of the Orb Vallis caves are a bit calmer. There may be some Corpus spawns in the caves, but they do not respawn nearly as much as Corpus outside of caves.
My favourite cave is in the far south east of the map, a small cave with just a small pond in it. But it’s so far away that Corpus only rarely have a quick glance. This cave is also good for catching 6 rare fish for the Nightwave task too.
Capture or Exterminate in the Void
In my opinion, some of Warframe’s best music is located in the Void. And in the capture and exterminate missions, it’s easy to clear the place out and have a bit of a gentle sit down between rooms. The Orokin gold, alongside its haunting, abandoned music, is absolutely wonderful.
These missions aren’t permanent though. Eventually, the game will decide that you’ve been sitting still for long enough, and it will kick you out. However, with Ivara, you can slowly creep from one room to the next, silently taking out any Corrupted enemies scattered around.
Relays
Going to the Tenno-controlled relays is always a good place to relax. All the relays in Warframe have little places you can sit, as well as some peaceful music. The newer relays also have flowing water and flicking fires, which make for a peaceful background to just sit near. As a bonus, you might also get some MR30 tributes as an added bonus as well.
What makes it nicer is that you do occasionally see people to talk to. Relays are quiet but they’re not completely dead. When Baro is around, you can get lots of interesting discussions as well.
Fortuna 69
However, if things out on the relays are a bit too quiet, you can always head to Fortuna 69. Fortuna 69 (at least, on the US servers) almost always has people around and in it, many of whom have great tasted in Tenno fashion.
But even when people aren’t talking, there’s a lot of ambient noise. Not just the rhythmic clanging of tools, but also the echoing sounds of the Vent Kids playing their music.
Plains of Eidolon
The best place to relax, at least in my opinion, is just past the gates of Cetus. The Plains of Eidolon, when played on your own, have a lot of earthly beauty in them. Between the chirrups of insects, the crashing of waves and the drizzling of rain, it all combines into a beautiful experience. One place in particular, the ocean to the far east, has a tiny little island you can sit on, while fishing or just relaxing. The odd Grineer or Vomvalyst may pop by briefly, but the little island is generally a safe spot.
If you have the captura scene though, you can just chill out in the rain forever, where no one can bother you…
