Things that should be Ephemeras
Ephemeras are great. They’re basically Unusual Hats but for Warframe and not worn on the head. An Ephemera uses the colours of your armour, so you can match it to the rest of your Warframe. Some
However, there are also some things that could be awesome Ephemeras, they just haven’t been added yet.
Syndicate Gear
Funnily enough, Syndicates did get some cosmetics recently. There are currently full armor sets for the Syndicates, Cetus and Fortuna. However, you know what would be just as cool? Ephemeras. You don’t even really need to get too fancy with these. Maybe, as a player levels up with a Syndicate, they could get a growing Ephemera that changes according to your level. Or your currant standing with them.
As for what they’d look like? Just take all the sigils and make them float around or something. There are plenty of icons with no real use once you hit maximum rank for a Syndicate, and only become useful for Fashion Frame.
The LED/Neon pink wings from Star Days
When I first saw Ticker doing her Star Days event, she stood in front of a display, making it look like Ticker had wings. However, unlike the Eros wings, the neon pink wings were actually just a ship cosmetic. A really, really nice cosmetic, but only for display inside of the Orbiter.
However, I would absolutely love to have the neon wings as an Ephemera as well. They’re definitely as good as the Eros wings, but also allow you more space to see, as they are translucent. Either way, Ticker looks great and I can guarantee that it would look good on me as well.
True Master Blessings
Ever since MR30 became available, True Master players have been giving an ability they can use in Relays. Using the True Master Font allows you to bless everyone in the relay with a small booster. When activated, the large Warframe statue at the entrance turns into the Warframe of the player who gave out the buff. On top of that though, you get a really neat blue energy effect, which would look awesome as an Ephemera. Sadly, once you leave the relay, the effect disappears and can’t be re-applied again for another 23 hours.
Then again, the True Master blessing is… still kinda glitchy. As you can tell from the picture above. For some reason, it always seems to use the base Volt skin, instead of the various other skins I use.
Either way, it would be way, way better than the weird emote True Masters got instead.
Bullet Jump mods
Did you know that there are a bunch of mods that make bullet jumping more awesome? Well, they don’t really, but mods like Lightning Dash, Rending Turn and Ice Spring all add a bit of flair to bullet jumping. These mods all increase your bullet jump speed and add a small amount of elemental damage that can hurt enemies. If anything, these mods are technically the first Ephemeras we got. The problem is, you can only use one bullet jump mod at once, and, well, the effects aren’t that amazing. They’re also pretty expensive to use, and go up to rank 10. Thankfully, if you just want the particle effect, you can use an unranked mod.
Making these into Ephemeras would be pretty neat. Then again, maybe not. Since these are mods, you can use them at the same time as the Vengeful or Step Epheremas, for double the effect. Making the bullet jump mods into Ephemeras technically gets us fewer options for customization.
Still, there’s always a demand for more Ephemera effects. And we already have a lot of them in-game, just waiting to be added…
