I am very pissed off. I have been trying to hatch a Larvesta for months and months. I still don’t have a Charcadet. BOTH of these Pokemon are currently in special 10km eggs for the Scorching Sands event, alongside the stupid, useless Turtonator. I’ve hatched 3 of these fucking 10km eggs and gotten Turtonator every fucking time. Meanwhile, in the event where Larvesta is the main Pokemon, it’s still the rarest thing in 2km and 5km eggs, even the special ones they released for Scorching Sands. Cyndaquil Classic Community Day

I’m sorry, but as cute as you are, Cyndaquil, today is just not… very good. I’m not even sure why Cyndaquil was chosen, aside from the fact that Typhlosion was given Thunder Punch at the start of the season. A move that did get buffed. Still, it’s a chance to catch shinies if you missed the original event. Is Typhlosion good? It’s ok. Doesn’t have much use in PvE because there are just so many good fire types these days. Ugh. These events lately. They are making me sad. Like, really sad. Incense days are tedious. All you can do is stare at your phone, waiting for a spawn, making sure you don’t miss one. Meanwhile, everything around you is just standard normal spawns. You don’t get any bonuses like XP or stardust like Community Days, you don’t even get great shiny chances like the (allegedly) 1/10 shiny chance in Research events*. You know what? This community day fucking sucked. Bounsweet is one of those small, annoying Pokemon with a kinda meh shiny, a fucky hitbox and no windup for its attack animation.
