I Wish My Pokemon Go Buddy Was Permanent

We’ve been able to have a buddy in Pokemon Go for a really long time. Your buddy adventures alongside you, collecting candies when you’ve walked specific distances. The new buddy system added last year however allows you to have your buddy out in the real world. They actually get to explore the map with you! However, like all good things, there’s a cost. Hey, do you remember that buddy system in Pokemon Go? The buddy system where your Pokemon will help you do things and bring you gifts and things like that? Remember how fun and immersive it was? Recall how I thoroughly enjoyed it? I even have a Giratina, an Altered Forme version called Orokin Chonk. Who I eventually became Ultra and later Best Buddies with. Too Many Buddies, Not Enough Time

As it stands I adore the new buddy system in Pokemon Go. It’s actually a very refreshing change of pace to the old buddy system, where your Pokemon of choice would just sit on your profile, occasionally yawning with boredom and staring off into the blue, red or yellow void. The new buddy system lets your Pokemon stretch its legs or wings or feet or fins or whatever appendages it uses to move and it will run around you, bring you gifts and help you catch Pokemon.
