My Little Kubrow

The thing about hatching a Helminth Charger before completing the tutorial pet quest Howl of the Kubrow is that half the stuff involved in getting your Helminth Charger into battle doesn’t… actually work. So after some messing around, I got myself another Kubrow egg and went and bred myself a Kubrow. What the fuck is a Kubrow you ask? It’s a space dog. With a horn on its nose. Kubrows are first introduced to you on Earth, and compared to the weak Grineer you meet in your first missions, Kubrows can actually be very dangerous to a newbie. But then… [Continue Reading]

The Dark Brotherhood of Skyrim

I’ve written about two of the major parts of Skyrim, the Companions and the Civil War, and I thought I might as well continue that trend and write about some of the other major factions of Skyrim. As to what group to start with, that was a tricky decision, and I ultimately decided to go with the Dark Brotherhood, a small family of assassins. Well, Aela the Huntress is, but she’s the character you spend most of the Companions quest line with. The first time you meet the Companions, you see them taking out a giant on a farm. If you don’t manage to get a hit in, even if you tried, you’ll be scolded… [Continue Reading]

The Second Dream

So I recently completed a certain quest in Warframe. The Second Dream. It’s an unusual quest and the latest in the Warframe story, which is insane to say the least. Then again, it’s to be expected. This is a game with space ninjas and guns and stuff. A note, this article contains spoilers on the Second Dream quest, so proceed with caution. Quests in Warframe are kinda weird though, they’re almost like optional side missions. Unlike the normal day to day activity, you just get quests by, well, uh, doing stuff. Apart from the first quest, which is partially a… [Continue Reading]
