The Kanto Tour has come and gone in Pokemon GO and it was… a thing. There were a ton of bonuses, a ton of raids and a LOT of Pokemon to catch. But was it worth the €12 ticket price? Pokemon GO, its Push for Paid and Ticketed Events and Why This Might Be A Problem

There have been so many events lately, that it’s actually hard to catch normal Pokemon spawns. But we’ve also been getting an increasing number of paid-for ticketed events. Originally, the only pay-to-play events were Go Fest and Safari Zone events, which happened at physical locations. Last year though, Regigigas was introduced through a special research. A Look at GO FEST Day 1 – Your Mileage May Vary

I know GO Fest’s first day was yesterday, but I need time to write these articles. And I spent most of yesterday catching a fuckton of Pokemon. The day was split into various ‘biomes’, with different Pokemon spawning in each biome. This would change every hour, and was accompanied by some sort of global challenge.
