Costume Pokemon I’d Like to See

In the past, I have complained about costume Pokemon, and how there are too many of them. But it’s clear as day that Niantic won’t stop with the costumes and hats, so we might as well join in and think of our own costumes. Here’s a bunch of costumed Pokemon that I want to see.

Party Hat Weedle

We already have Party Hat Wurmple, so why not go a step further and shove more party hats on Pokemon? Actually, we don’t really need to do that. Still, Weedle has a horn on its head that is perfect for a party hat. So why not? Well, as long as Kakuna and Beedrill also get the hats. Unfortunately, party hat Wurmple can’t evolve, so I assume that party hat Weedle would be similar.

Crystal Onix

Despite not having watched the Pokemon anime in years, I do remember very early on seeing an episode about an Onix made out of crystal, instead of normal rocks. While I did watch the show, it was badly dubbed into Greek, and I was still learning the language. So I don’t actually know why the Onix was made out of crystal, but it was cool nonetheless. It’d be interesting to see a Crystal Onix in Pokemon GO, especially since Onix’s shiny form doesn’t look that good.

More cloned Pokemon

Remember the first Pokemon movie, with Mewtwo and his cloned Pokemon? I do, mostly because I re-watched it not too long ago. In Pokemon GO, we got Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur as clones, as well as one encounter with a cloned Pikachu. However, Mewtwo created a ton of cloned Pokemon, not just those three. At the very least, it’d be cool to have the cloned starter Pokemon in their base forms.

Failing this, a shiny clone Pokemon would be quite cool.

The real Shadow Lugia

The Apex Shadow Lugia we got in after the Johto tour was cool, but not what people wanted. The Lugia I got in particular had awful stats, but not as bad as my Apex Ho-Oh. This annoyed me greatly since I’m likely never going to get another one, and I’m not longer paying for event tickets for other Legendary/Mythical Pokemon. However, the REAL Shadow Lugia isn’t what we got.

In the Pokemon game Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, we got a special Lugia that was un-purifyable until the very end of the game. It was so amazingly shadow-y that the Lugia’s skin had changed colour and it turned a dark purple. We SHOULD have gotten this Lugia for the Apex Shadow Lugia, but all we got instead was a normal Lugia with a shiny shadowy aura. Shame.

Any costume that Pikachu has that Pichu and Raichu don’t

Too many costumed Pikachus

I quite like Raichu as a Pokemon. Pichu is kinda small and annoying, but it’s still kinda cute. However, despite being related to Pikachu, botth Raichu and Pichu miss out on a lot of the cosmetics that Pikachu has. Sure, a Mimikyu Pikachu is a bit weird, but surely we can shove a Raichu into a Mimikyu costume too.

Actually, now I think about it, Raichu in a Pikachu costume would actually be pretty sad. A Pokemon that’s become rare because people prefer Pikachu over its evolution. At least a Pichu in a Mimikyu costume would be a little less sad.

Anyway, those are some costumes I’d like to see. Are there any costumed Pokemon that you’d like to see in a future event? Let me know by answering in the comments below.
