My Favourite Decree Combinations so far

While you normally have the choice to use whatever you want in the rest of the Origin system, in Duviri, your loadout is mostly decided by luck. Out of the hundreds of options you have, it’s highly likely that you will get a weapon or Warframe that you haven’t really used before. To somewhat counteract this randomness, we have Decrees, which give you specific boosts to both Drifter and your Warframe. These Decrees build up over time, and can make you very powerful.

Here are some Decree combinations that I really enjoy. They’re not particularly powerful, but I like having these decrees when I get them.

Roll to reload, reload to do more damage

Duelists Advantage, Ranger’s Reload

Do you like reloading? No, no one does. Do you like rolling? Well, I do. How about extra damage after reloading? What if we combined reloading and gun damage into one buff? If you ever get a random gun with a low clip size or a hideously long reload speed, then I recommend getting these two Decrees. Rolling to reload can really take the edge off a long reload speed, while Duelist’s Advantage gives extra damage to your next shot. Compare this with something like the Knell or a sniper rifle like Rubico or Lanka, you can output a TON of damage. It’s not that useful against lots of enemies, but you can easily prioritize bigger enemies and kill them fast.

Hungry Heals

Greedy Heal, Nourishing Terror

These two decrees both heal you. Greedy Heal will heal you for 10% when you kill an enemy, and Nourishing Terror heals you every time you do status damage to something. Combine these with an elemental Warframe like Lavos, Frost or Ember and you become much harder to kill with all the status effects you can do. The only downside is that you do need to constantly keep on doing status effects, otherwise your healing disappears.

Staggering Rolls

Evasive Tremors, Tactical Repositioning, Luscinia’s Suffering

This combination is more of a Drifter roll, and isn’t very helpful for Warframes. Warframes have plenty of health. Drifter on the hand can be very squishy at first, at least until you get some good decrees. With these decrees though, I can just roll around Dax soldiers and keep them stun-locked. Luscinia’s Suffering works even when you’re not rolling, but it also helps with staggering enemies, and gives you a guaranteed status proc which can come in useful for other decrees.

SPEED

Fleet-Footed

How can I NOT like Fleet-Footed? It’s free movement speed! And you don’t even need that many decrees to actually start zooming. I do kinda wish it had a second level though, because I would like to zoom even faster. This doesn’t just apply to Warframes, it applies to Drifter as well, and Drifter can easily start outracing the Kaithe. If anything, it’s better to run around as Drifter, and only use the Kaithe for flying.

Of course, there are many other decree combinations out there. But at the end of the day, or the end of your mission, you’ve generally picked up so many decrees that you become very powerful. In fact, you can easily destroy hordes of enemies, even if you have random weaponry.
