I’m sorry, but as cute as you are, Cyndaquil, today is just not… very good. I’m not even sure why Cyndaquil was chosen, aside from the fact that Typhlosion was given Thunder Punch at the start of the season. A move that did get buffed. Still, it’s a chance to catch shinies if you missed the original event. Is Typhlosion good? It’s ok. Doesn’t have much use in PvE because there are just so many good fire types these days. Bagon Community Day Classic

Classic Community Days are basically just a chance to get an old Community Day to come back. While everyone has been desperate for Beldum and Metagross to come back, we got Bagon and Salamence in the mean time. Bagon definitely isn’t a bad pick, it is definitely a strong dragon type, and many people have Shadow Bagons they want to evolve. I don’t, I didn’t even get a decent 2* Bagon worth evolving, but Shadow Salamence IS one of the strongest dragon types available, only really beaten by Rayquaza, its Mega and Salamence’s own Mega. Mareep Classic Community Day

On November 25th, we had the Classic Community Day of the season. This classic community day though wasn’t the most interesting one as it featured Mareep, the little fluffy electric sheep. Mareep is actually a pretty common Pokemon, regardless of season, and has been around for a long time. It also had a research weekend event where you’d complete research tasks in order to get Mareep.
