I Think the Ignis Wraith is Fine

The Ignis Wraith came out as one of the most used weapons in 2020. Frankly, I’m not surprised. Despite being a top tier weapon, it’s damage isn’t amazing. It’s just a cool flamethrower that’s fun to use. However, just because it’s popular, doesn’t mean it’s bad. Still, plenty of people will probably complain about a flamethrower being so popular. Well, of course it is. We’re playing a hoard shooter. There’s a constant stream of enemies running at us. While, originally, Warframe was a lot stealthier than it is now, there’s always been lots of enemies. A big part of the… [Continue Reading]

8 More Free Weapons Every Player Should Try in Payday 2

In 2016 I wrote this article, and I legit don’t think I remembered it when using the exact same title for a SPUF of Legend video almost two years later. Well, the two lists don’t actually have much in common, so let’s cover some more great options that don’t require any DLC! Most of the time, it’s variations on a theme, like Darvo running away from debt collectors, or teasing new main-game content via events like Rathuum and the Index Preview. The Pacifism Defect isn’t much different. It features a new game mode, Evacuation (not to be confused… [Continue Reading]

I’ve talked about Volt a lot, he is essentially my avatar in the game (a lot of people identify more with warframes than operators) but I haven’t really talked about the Ignis. I’ve mentioned my floating pet and ugly animals more than my weapons. The Ignis is a flamethrower made by the Grineer. By default,… [Continue Reading]
