My Favourite Twitch Streamers

In my desperate bid to write articles, I am not just scraping the bottom of the barrel, I have clawed my way through it and am on my way to digging towards the center of the earth. But, well, I’ve had a lot of Twitch playing in the background while I work, so I feel like this is a good topic to write about. Plus, I’ve mentioned Youtubers that I follow before, Twitch is no different. Anyway, here are some of my favourite Twitch streamers. The assorted friends and stuff Before I go into streamers who I don’t know but… [Continue Reading]

Twitch Is So Game-y

I’ve been watching more stuff on Twitch lately. Due to my work, I don’t really want to watch something short on Youtube, or have to fiddle around picking something new to watch. Youtube’s autoplay feature can make some godawful selections, and it’s also been fucky with adblockers, unless you use uBlock Origin on not-Chrome. On Twitch Drops

While I’m not really a fan of watching streamers on Twitch, I do like Twitch Drops. The concept is stupidly simple. On Never Streaming

I’ve always kinda wanted to stream. Whether it be streaming video games or doing art, the idea of showing what you are doing, recording your actions and people wandering in and saying hi and talking to you all sound very nice. You end up making friends and maybe even building a community. Heck, you don’t even need to have anyone watching your streams, you can just stream yourself playing games and talking to some guy in the background in Spanish, not caring that no one is actually there, doing a 30 minute survival mission with three squad mates that are… [Continue Reading]

The Differences Between Watching Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 Competitive

I’ll be honest, I’m not great at games. But I do enjoy watching games being played skillfully. So does aabicus. And so do a lot of people, enough for people to buy into weird schemes and build multi-million dollar prize pools for video game competitions. While Dota 2 and League of Legends aren’t my cup of tea to watch, I’ll always enjoy a bit of pro TF2. Now, top tier Team Fortress 2 is pretty fun. It’s strategic and fast-paced. You know what’s also fun? Pro Overwatch. But there’s something about them that, I don’t know, feels off. Most of… [Continue Reading]
