I have not spent a single cent on Paladins. And that is strange, because I really don’t see why not. I really enjoy the game, I’m rather invested in it, and I like Hi-Rez. Somewhat. I did talk about how I feel that Hi-Rez’s business model feels exploitative. Granted, they did made grinding easier since then, but the grind still feels so painfully long. Farming for Credits

Even space ninjas need money. Okay, they’re not using their money to buy groceries and things like that. They’re most likely throwing it away buying and leveling up weapons they don’t really need in order to reach their next mastery rank, but still. They use money. They need it. Vast amounts of it. Payday 2 and Things Lost in Translation

I’m constantly having to explain to my friends how I could like Payday:The Heist better than Payday 2. The second game is a popular rollicking juggernaut with developer support, dozens of heists and weapons, customization options to rival TF2, and a huge player base.
