Character Annihilation – A Series of Stories and SPUFers
Feels like ages. It really does. Time flies when you’re having fun. Especially here at the Daily SPUF. But alas, I think it’s time for something different. We pride ourselves on writing a lot of articles, mostly about Team Fortress 2, occasionally about Left 4 Dead and other games. We never take the time though to sit back and talk about the people behind SPUF, without which the Daily SPUF would be nothing. Let’s be honest though, interviews are kinda lame when people don’t have much to say, and you could find out about fellow SPUFers by adding them as friends and, you know, talking to them!
That’s where I come in. It is time to use this stupid, over the top imagination to good use. I’m locking Medic, Phovos, Vel’Koz and company in the wardrobe (kinda like I used to when I was 8) and am using my imagination for the greater good. Or not.
Character Annihilation is a mini-series here on the Daily SPUF. Instead of sucking up and writing about how great you all are, or doing lame interviews, I am going to write some randomly picked SPUFers from my 14700th post special thread into a bunch of short stories. What the stories will contain, you won’t know until I’ve written them.
So basically, I’m writing a bunch of stories about a bunch of SPUFers and no one can stop me! These stories will be evil. Mean. Nasty. Evil again… Not really, but they’ll be a laugh, and those featured will both laugh and cry, hopefully. And, fingers crossed, there won’t be too much sexual innuendo.
The scheduling though won’t be like previous events. All stories will be published when they’re ready, there’s no reason to post them all in a row, because you’d all get annoyed with me. I will get to all 10 stories eventually but I’ll need time. These pieces of ‘art’ don’t happen at the drop of a hat. I also won’t be announcing the people picked from the thread. That’s part of the surprise!
Why am I doing this? Personal reasons mostly, but I thought it was time to write about something else, and this little thing will help entertain me and keep me from going completely insane.
