Announcing the SPUF of Legend!

Wow! We’ve reached the quadruple digits! Back when we started things in 2013, adapting SPUF threads into articles and relying mostly on Gen. DeGroot’s loadout thread for pictures, I had no idea we’d ever reach this far. And we didn’t just reach it, we kept new articles coming every day!

Medic’s already got an article talking about how awesome this is, so my focus here is to showcase some cool new additions to our content-creating repertoire. As mentioned, we’ve created a Youtube channel, The SPUF of Legend, and my goal is to create new videos for said channel on a regular basis. I’m aiming for a new video a week. Here’s the first one!

This beginning video’s very article-esque, but as I get more comfortable making movies I plan to branch out into different filming styles. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to use my microphone 😛

But that’s not all! I’m also going to start regularly streaming gameplay on my Twitch, probably mostly Valve games or Payday, but as we’ve proven here at the Daily, we love community contributions! Suggest a game or even a loadout if you hop by find yourself in the chat!

Also new is our revamped Twitter and Facebook pages. Medic and I are going to put more work into publicizing our content beyond just the SPUF community, so if you’ve ever wanted to be read by a wider audience, time’s never been better to submit articles.

And finally, I have to say thank you to all of our readers and submitters. Medic and I love this blog, and we’ve both put a lot of time and work into it, but the best part is knowing that people enjoy reading our work, and that we’ve given other writers the chance to publish their own content. Happy 1000 articles everybody, now let’s get a thousand more!
