The Troubles In Making A Dragon Follower Mod

Let’s face it, I’m not very good at making mods. They’re hard. Even though Skyrim has tools to make mods, it’s still hard. Most of the mods I’ve made haven’t worked that well. Electric Breath has a weird bug that makes Fire Breath silent which I never worked out how to fix. The houses I’ve made, one of them doesn’t have proper LODs and another has a weird hole in a mountain but it’s small and fixable. A third, more temple-like structure remains unfinished. My dragon summoning mods all work but the AI packages bug out occasionally. Most of this… [Continue Reading]

Eat at Panda Express Today and Get a Chork!

Today is General Tso’s birthday, and to honor that fact Panda Express is giving away a free chork with every purchase! While chopstick-forks have appeared in culinary history before today, Panda will be the first chain to introduce them to the mainstream audience, and their marketing tools insist they ‘invented’ it so presumably they’re using something of a new model. In a statement to First We Feast, Panda explained their rationale for the new silverware: “Chorks were introduced to the public during the launch of the dish yesterday. The tool is a perfect way to illustrate the mashup of American and… [Continue Reading]

Cops & Zombies & Zeds

(Fun fact: The description for this episode reads: ‘In this video I become the first person ever to compare Killing Floor 2 to Dungeons & Dragons’. Then the WWAUT goes live the next day and starts with: Last time around, we talked about the high level concept of what the Survivalist is: a high skill cap, jack-of-all-trades-but-master-of-none (or the bard for those of you who play those sorts of games… with “magic” and “dragons.” Guess the comparison was more mainstream than I thought!)  I was talking with someone on reddit and they wanted to know how Steam’s three biggest horde-based shooter franchises differed from each… [Continue Reading]

Congratulations America for being retarded!

Congratulations, America. You’ve gone full Brexit on us. And I’m laughing at you. Hehe. Every country, every expert, every sane person you had told you otherwise but you didn’t listen. With Republicans controlling pretty much all of your government now, you can enjoy seeing them repeal everything Obama did, mostly out of spite. Oh and you’ll probably see a recession as well because that’s when most recessions occur – during Republican control. Let’s hope you don’t end up going backwards rather than forwards. Well, I say you, I mean the population who voted for the guy who can’t even handle… [Continue Reading]

Advanced Warfare: A Comprehensive Rambling

CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE ~A comprehensive rambling~ Call of Duty is quite the series, starting as a WW2 shooter series, then becoming the go-to run-and-camp FPS and eventually going into the realms of science fiction. Advanced Warfare is the first full Call of Duty game by Sledgehammer games, which did work on previous Call of Duty games like Modern Warfare 3. It is set in the mid-late 2050s, where North Korea hates freedom and Chechen terrorists have formed worldwide terror organizations with vague anarchist goals. Part 1: The Campaign (Plot spoilers below) A brief overview of the campaign gives a… [Continue Reading]

Ideas for Vs AI in Overwatch

“Versus AI” is one of the three main game modes available in Overwatch, coming with its own MMR, XP levels and stat-tracking page in your career profile. I usually play a single Vs AI match when I start up Overwatch for the day so I can warm up and grab that +1500 First Win of the Day bonus in a stressfree environment. I also had a roommate in Texas who was too intimidated by the thought of fighting other humans and so would play a lot of McCree and Mei versus AI. So for multiple reasons, it’s an appreciated game mode and… [Continue Reading]

Perpetually Puzzling Puzzles in Fast-Paced Platform Shooters

I love the majority of Warframe’s gameplay, the bouncing around, the bullet jumping, the gliding through the air, the shooting stuff, it’s all awesome. Warframe is totally up there when it comes to fast-paced shooter games. But there’s something that can stop you dead in your tracks. No, I’m not talking about things like absurd component costs and times to build. Yes, 3 days to build a new frame is stupid, but in the mean time, you can still play. Maybe put a lens on one of your other characters and work on your focus. I am also not talking… [Continue Reading]

Sombra Announced For Overwatch!

Blizzcon began yesterday, and as always, the opening ceremony announced what’s coming soon for all major Blizzard franchises. Overwatch will be getting their 2nd post-release hero, the elusive hacker Sombra, in the Public Test Realm on Tuesday November 8th (Election day!) Everyone following the painfully-executed months-long ARG knew this was coming, but it’s hard not to get excited when we have a new cinematic short and a complete breakdown on Sombra’s in-game abilities! According to her character profile on the official site, Sombra is an offense hero who wields a machine pistol and a lot of support-style abilities. She can turn… [Continue Reading]

The Companions – the faction, not your friends…

There’s no Fighters Guild in Skyrim. There should have been, but there isn’t. Instead, we get the Companions. These guys claim to carry on the traditions of the 500 companions of Ysgramor, the elf-killing badass, but really, they are a bunch of smelly idiots. I mean it. They’re douchebags. Well, Aela the Huntress is, but she’s the character you spend most of the Companions quest line with. The first time you meet the Companions, you see them taking out a giant on a farm. If you don’t manage to get a hit in, even if you tried, you’ll be scolded… [Continue Reading]

Medic’s First Raid – the Law of Retribution

So I did a raid, called the Law of Retribution. Which, lore-wise, comes after a bastard called Vay Hek broke some of our relays. Now we have to get revenge. Of course, I didn’t get any screenshots, I was too busy trying not to die. Really, the title should read ‘Retvik’s first raid’ but none of you know who Retvik is. Retvik is the name of me in Warframe, based on one of my main characters in the Phoviverse. Really, I hate the name, it doesn’t suit my imagined Warfame character. The Operator behind Volt (or at least how I… [Continue Reading]
