How to Level Up Quickly With Solaris United

Grinding for Standing to level up with various Syndicates can feel boring and repetitive and often feel that it’s not worth it. That’s because the Syndicate grind IS boring and repetitive. The only way it isn’t boring and repetitive is to be an older player who has a massive backlog of Syndicate Medallions for the 6 angry Syndicates and a ton of spare resources for Solaris United, Vox Solaris and the Quills, in the form of Debt Bonds, Toroids and Sentient Cores.

Sure, sure, you can spend all your life fishing and mining, mainly for Cetus and Solaris United, but that’s also a slow, tedious process, only made better if you happen to have a resource booster on at all times.

In fact, the grind for Standing for Cephalon Simaris and Conclave is made worse simply because there’s no real way to turn in items to increase your standing.

Luckily, at least for Solaris United, there IS a way to at least partially bypass some of this tedium. It’s still a repetitive process, but it’s at least got a bit more action in it. There… is a little setup first.

The first step is to get yourself a tanky Warframe. It doesn’t really matter what Warframe, as long as they can stand being shot at a little. My personal preference is Nezha but a bog standard Rhino does the job no problem. Having a Sniper Rifle like the Vectis is also handy but not required.

The next step is to partake in the Fractures mini-event on the Orb Vallis, so you can get yourself some Diluted Thermia. You don’t need a lot, in fact just 5-10 will do, just to be on the safe side. But you’ll want to do the Fractures anyway because the rewards are genuinely good.

The third step is to take your tanky Warframe and get yourself to recruiting chat to find someone willing to do Exploiter Orb fights with you. Now normally you can only get into matchmaking for Exploiter Orb by having access to Vox Solaris, but you can enter the cave where Exploiter hides whenever you want, as long as you have some Diluted Thermia on hand. In fact, you don’t even need to return to Fortuna, you can finish the fight and then return back to the Exploiter’s cave and start the fight again!

From here on, the process is simple. You just kill the Exploiter Orb over and over. Why? Because Exploiter will drop TONS of rewards. Mostly minerals and fish parts, the former of which you can then exchange for Solaris United standing. But the great thing is that Exploiter Orb’s drops are affected not only by the double loot buff of Smeeta Kavats, but they are also affected by resource boosters AND the potential double drops whenever the Fractures on the Vallis are at “Under Control” levels. Even if you don’t get any loot doublers, you will get a ton of loot, most notably the rarer Zodian and Amaryst gems, which can be exchanged for 1000 and 500 standing each.

On top of that, you also get big blue Toroids, which are worth 12000 STANDING EACH! Even if you can’t access Vox Solaris yet, you can collect Toroids for later. The other Toroids in comparison are only worth 1000 Standing each.

So one Exploiter Orb fight ends up being worth about 2-3 bounties worth of Standing, possibly a lot more depending on what bounties you get. I mean, some of those bounties just go on for sooo damn looong…

There IS still a bit of a problem though. Your Standing is limited by your Mastery Rank. Really, if you want to earn Standing faster, your best bet is to increase your Mastery Rank as far as you can.

Sadly, it’s still a long, slow grind. But at least with Exploiter Orb, you can earn Standing for two Syndicates at once and also have a bunch of resources to build Fortuna-y things…
