On Using Low Forma Warframe Builds

I don’t like using Forma on my Warframes. Having done so much leveling stuff up over the years, I generally dislike the idea of having to level something again. I’m Legendary Rank 2 and have done my fair share of leveling things up, and using Forma means exactly that, more leveling. I also dislike having things that are not leveled up, they look messy in my arsenal, and the only weapons I allow to be under-leveled are Kuva and Tenet weapons, which require five Forma EACH. While I don’t mind leveling weapons that much, I really dislike leveling Warframes for… [Continue Reading]

Level 40 Weapons and a Ton of Forma

A long time ago, a weapon called the Paracesis came out. The blueprint for this cool sword was a reward for listening to Ballas while he whined about Natah. However, the Paracesis wasn’t a normal weapon. Not at all. As well as having great stats, the Paracesis had an unusual gimmick. If you stuck up to five extra forma into the Paracesis, it would level up all the way to level 40. This was a somewhat interesting gimmick. It worked nicely on the one, single sword. The Paracesis is specially designed to cut through Sentients, and is a tool and… [Continue Reading]

Kuva Weapons – Liches, Percentages, Forma

Kuva Weapons are a bit of an anomaly in Warframe. Most weapons are available only after you have built them, or bought for vast amounts of ducats. Event weapons are often just deposited in your inventory. But with Kuva weapons, you can grab them straight from the foundry. Even though they are just given to you though, Kuva weapons need a lot of work. They are also… pretty damn random. Obtaining a Kuva Weapon Getting a Kuva Weapon sounds simple on the surface. All you have to do is kill a Kuva Lich! Well, actually, you have to spend ages… [Continue Reading]

The Arguably Auspicious Aura Forma

The Aura Forma is something I never really expected to see in Warframe, but really, after the addition of the Umbral Forma, I shouldn’t be that surprised. I mean, with one new type of Forma, there were guaranteed to be more in the future. Still, the Aura Forma is quite a weird place to start. Aura Formas can currently be obtained in two ways: either as rewards for rare events or as a rare reward in Arbitrations. The Arbitrations version drops as a blueprint that you then have to build, and is actually more expensive than building an Exilus Adapter… [Continue Reading]

On Not Formaing Warframes

With the introduction of the Plains of Eidolon remaster, we were also given secondary energy colours on everything except for Kavats and Kubrows. But to access the secondary energy colours, you needed to forma your desired Warframe or weapon at least once. For most that’s not an issue. Most people have already picked their favourite weapons and Warframes and stuck one or two Forma on them. Heck, there are people out there who intentionally put more than 8 Forma on their gear just for the fun of it. But for me, this was a hard thing to do, as I… [Continue Reading]

The Curiosity of the Umbral Forma

The end of Night Wave season 1 is coming up, and with it we will lose the first opportunity to obtain the Umbral Forma, the reward for reaching level 29 in Nightwave. The Umbral Forma was probably the most anticipated reward when Nightwave came out. After all, it’s the first non-normal Forma we have ever seen, and only recently did we get a third type of Forma, the Aura Forma. But despite the Aura Forma being newer, it still doesn’t beat the Umbral Forma in just how… curious it is. The main reason for that is simple. The Aura Forma… [Continue Reading]
