Liches VS Bitches

After much waiting, we finally have personalized bosses for both the Corpus and the Grineer. But which of these personalized bosses are better than the other? Well, that’s what I hope we will discover here. But it’s often tricky to compare across factions, because the Grineer and the Corpus have very different outlooks on existence. Basically the same both ways The mechanics for both Sisters of Parvos and Kuva Liches are pretty damn similar. They’ll grab a planet (Venus or Earth) and then crawl across the solar system as you meet them more. You’ll need to find out the requiem… [Continue Reading]

On Stolen Robot Doggos

One of the more surprising additions to the Sisters of Parvos was the fact that we can adopt their pets. If you kill a Sister of Parvos, when you return to your ship, not only do you get the Sister’s weapon, but you get her robotic companion as well. However, despite being somewhat strong when tied to a Sister, is the adopted Hound any good? Well, let’s find out. Are they even useful? Hounds work in pretty much the same way as MOAs, built by Legs in Fortuna. There are currently three types of Hound, and the mastery given from… [Continue Reading]

What Is the Point of Converted Liches, Outside of Trading?

Whenever you defeat a Sister of Parvos or a Kuva Lich, you get two options. The first option is to completely murder the Sister or Lich, so you can steal their gun. After all, Kuva and Tenet weapons are some of the best weapons around. However, if you are feeling merciful, you can convert the Lich or Sister and have them fight by your side. However, the most common reason to convert a nemesis is for their Ephemeras. These fancy effects are highly sought-after because, well, they’re basically Team Fortress 2’s unusuals but for your Warframe. This means that Ephemeras… [Continue Reading]

Corrupted Holokeys Suck

For some very weird reason, the Sisters of Parvos don’t use melee weapons. All the weapons you get from killing a Sister are standard guns. However, there still are some new Tenet melee weapons available. They just don’t have anything to do with the Sisters of Parvos. Why aren’t these weapons available from the Sisters? I’m not sure, but I assume it’s because the Sisters all skipped leg day and arm day. My guess is that the Sisters just aren’t strong enough to use melee weapons or something like that. Sisters generally tend to be skinny anyway, so seeing one… [Continue Reading]

Level 40 Weapons and a Ton of Forma

A long time ago, a weapon called the Paracesis came out. The blueprint for this cool sword was a reward for listening to Ballas while he whined about Natah. However, the Paracesis wasn’t a normal weapon. Not at all. As well as having great stats, the Paracesis had an unusual gimmick. If you stuck up to five extra forma into the Paracesis, it would level up all the way to level 40. This was a somewhat interesting gimmick. It worked nicely on the one, single sword. The Paracesis is specially designed to cut through Sentients, and is a tool and… [Continue Reading]

Parvos’s Sisters and Their Lack of Lore Sense

It’s been a bit since the Sisters of Parvos appeared in Warframe, but something is bothering me about them. While, functionally, they are a lot like Kuva Liches, I feel like something is missing from them. Their lore doesn’t really make much sense. Well, some of it does. But all together, they seem to have a kinda messy and almost contradicting lore. What actually makes a Sister Candidate special? To create a Sister of Parvos, you need to get at least 25 kills in the Granum Void. Once you’ve done that and returned to reality, a Candidate will spawn. Stab… [Continue Reading]

Yeah, Really? Yareli

As part of my rush to reach Legendary One, I found myself racing to finish Yareli. As a Warframe, she’s worth 6000 mastery, which is quite a lot. However, I basically went in blind when it came to what Yareli actually does. I essentially believed that Yareli had to be good, or at least middling. After all, her quest had been awful. Surely they wouldn’t make the Warframe awful too? Her abilities feel lackluster. I don’t know why, but Yareli kinda doesn’t seem to do much. She has two crowd control abilities, a ring of slashing damage and her own… [Continue Reading]

A Quick look at Sisters of Parvos

I’m going to be honest here. Somehow, I don’t really understand the Sisters of Parvos. The whole system is pretty much identical to Kuva Liches. But something feels a bit off about them. For some reason, they feel both better and worse off than Kuva Liches. Gameplay-wise, fighting a Sister is simple. It is basically the same as fighting a Kuva Lich. You follow the same exact steps. First, you stab things, then you try and figure out the random combination. Once you successfully stab them, you do a Railjack mission to finish them off. Except, in the case of… [Continue Reading]

The Kuva Lich Showdown is Pretty Neat

I haven’t had a Kuva Lich for ages. But with the Sisters of Parvos update, we got some new Kuva weapons. So I grabbed my trusty Kuva Bramma and Kuva Twin Stubbas and started a new hunt. After only two Cassini capture missions, I created a new Lich with a new weapon. I was expecting this new Kuva Lich fight to be a slog, but I was pleasantly surprised. Well, pleasantly surprised isn’t the best term to use. But hunting my Kuva Lich wasn’t too bad. As of writing, I haven’t done any Sisters of Parvos Queenpins, but they kinda… [Continue Reading]
