So, a few times now, I’ve ended up stuck as Drifter on the Circuit. It’s not particularly fun though. In fact, it’s the opposite of fun. I hate it. And it’s not even how you’re supposed to play the Circuit. Unfortunately, if you don’t load in fast enough, you end up playing as Drifter, having not chosen a weapon or even a Warframe. For reasons unknown, instead of just spawning you in with random gear (or the first option on all weapons and Warframes), you just spawn in as Drifter. The other day, I lost 45 minutes of Steel Path Circuit progress, due to a random host migration. I’ve got no idea what happened, because I was in a call with some friends, yet there I was, no longer with my squad. Since I’ve got a newer, more modern phone, I don’t get that much GPS drift any more. Sometimes, with all location-based games and apps, GPS signals can get blocked. Warframe is a video game. Because it is a video game, it is sometimes hit by bugs. If you read through Reddit and the Warframe forums, you’d think Warframe is the buggiest game ever. Edit: Everything is apparently fixed now. What actually happened is still a confusing mess of caching. Something is very wrong with Steam today. After Steam went down from too much traffic, people started realising that they were no longer logged in as themselves. This was most obvious when clicking on one’s Account Details, you’d see the information of, well, not you, the most revealing of which is payment information, Steam Guard details, your shopping cart, your purchase history and your email address. Along with all the cosmetic stuff and weapon balances and all that, the Gun Mettle update brought with it a HUGE amount of glitches and bugs and all sorts of stuff, some of which may or may not be fixed *cough*dropped Medi Guns holding Uber*cough*.
