Duviri Paradox – Wait, What?

Clearly I’ve missed something when it comes to this quest. I must have missed some major story elements or something. Because what I thought happened isn’t actually what happened at all. Just a quick note, this article is VERY spoiler-heavy. I’m warning you now. SPOILERS AHEAD, PLEASE GO DO THE QUEST FIRST BEFORE YOU CONTINUE. Or not. Some people don’t mind being spoiled. Now, it turns out I missed something while playing Duviri paradox. It turns out, I was wrong about who Thrax is. Thrax isn’t just some random person. Thrax is the Drifter. Or the Drifter is Thrax. Or… [Continue Reading]

Sea of Thieves – The Ledger

In the Sea of Thieves, there’s a lot of stuff under the surface that’s honestly quite easy to miss. On one hand, there are hundreds of commendations that unlock all sorts of things and grant all sorts of rewards. On the other hand, there’s the Ledger. This is something I’ve only recently become aware of. So basically, the Ledger is like a global challenge. Everyone who does emissary stuff is automatically logged in the Ledger, and you get points according to what you do as an emissary. There are four ranks, three of which have rewards, as a bronze, silver… [Continue Reading]

On Resident Evil 4

When I last visited my boyfriend and stayed over for a bit, we decided we needed some horror. So we came up with Horror Night with [Redacted], where we’d play Resident Evil 4 with the lights off and late at night, on the PS5. It’s been a great experience so far, and we still have a few chapters remaining. But there’s something weird about Resident Evil 4 that I can’t quite put my finger on. First off though, this game is pretty. Well, it’s not pretty as in generally pleasing to look at, but the game’s scenery is well made,… [Continue Reading]

On Hunting Bugs

Bugs and glitches; they are absolutely everywhere. Anyone or anything that claims to be completely, 100% bug-free is probably lying. There’s bugs in everything. At the same time, there are tons of people trying to squash all these bugs. Programmers and developers can spend huge amounts of man hours trying to find bugs and fix them. I’m potentially one of those people. Sometimes, bugs somehow squeeze their way in all unexpected. This is doubly true for things like WordPress, which generally have tons of plugins and themes, all often made by third parties. With so much going on, a bug… [Continue Reading]

My Five Favourite Warframe Bows

In most games, bows are generally not particularly strong, at least when compared with guns and the like. But in Warframe, bows are actually really strong, keeping up and even beating standard guns. In fact, some of the strongest weapons in Warframe are bows. Anyway, here are my favourite bows. 5. Rakta Cernos Coming in at number five, we have the Rakta Cernos. Compared to the rest of the list, the Rakta Cernos is very much a standard bow. It shoots basic arrows that basically pin enemies to nearby walls. However, what makes the Rakta Cernos stand out is how… [Continue Reading]

Liches are Better Than Sisters

Kuva Liches are better than Sisters of Parvos. That’s a fact. There’s no way you can convince me otherwise. Although I’ve mostly finished with Kuva Liches, I’d much rather farm them again over going against Sisters of Parvos. Here’s why. Easier to farm Firstly, Kuva Liches are far easier to get. If I want a Kuva Lich, then all I have to do is kill a bunch of Grineer to get one to spawn. Once it’s spawned, I can then stab the poor kuvaling and see what weapon it has. For Sisters of Parvos, you have to jump into the… [Continue Reading]

On Not Being Able To Roleplay

I’m a writer. I write constantly. Every day, I write 500 words, often more. I don’t just write articles, I write fiction as well. In fact, I do so much writing that it’s basically burned into me now, it’s a massive part of my routine, and because of it, I’ve been able to both keep The Daily SPUF daily, and my fictional writing is still going, slowly but surely. In my writing, I have to do a little bit of roleplay, putting myself in the shoes of my characters, or even my non-fiction readers. I also play a bit of… [Continue Reading]

“So What Happened To That Pokemon Violet Series?”

A while back, I started playing Pokemon Violet. I intended to do a complete playthrough, the same way I did with Pokemon Shield. However, it turns out that Pokemon Violet has a little too much to do, and, well, I kinda lost interest. To recap, I did do a bit of everything. I caught some Pokemon, I did some battles, you know the drill. The gyms I did were rather easy, but they weren’t particularly interesting. I also did one Team Star base, which I completed rather quickly, but I didn’t particularly enjoy. What did interest me was the Path… [Continue Reading]

Taskmaster but International

Taskmaster is one of my favourite TV shows of all time. I absolutely adore it, and regularly spend lunch breaks and evenings watching Taskmaster. I’ve watched up to series 14 and am waiting patiently for season 15, which will have Frankie Boyle (a terrifyingly amazing comedian) on it. But did you know that Taskmaster has been done in other countries too? I’ll start with the ones in languages I don’t understand. Bast I Test is the Swedish version of Task Master, and it does have a good spin on the normal Taskmaster layout. The Taskmaster herself is a woman called… [Continue Reading]
