A Distinct Lack of Yellow in Sea of Thieves

Anyone who’s seen my Warframe articles knows that I normally use bright yellow on all my characters. Yellow is my favourite colour, it’s the colour of one of my main Phoviverse protagonists and I like to make sure that it’s everywhere. If I could, I would have made a yellow Bohrok, I do have a yellow head plate, but Bohrok limbs don’t come in yellow. In Sea of Thieves, I kinda wanted to continue my tradition of wearing yellow, but, well, I have like one option total. And it’s not even that yellow. I realized that there was no yellow… [Continue Reading]

The Final Piece of Pirate Fashion

When I first started playing Sea of Thieves, I didn’t have much when it came to clothing. I also had basically no gold, so there wasn’t much I could buy anyway. However, after a few hours of playing, I did unlock some clothing from the season pass though, and I put together what I thought was a pretty simple outfit. On Not Spending Fortunes On Clothes

In the Sea of Thieves, the number one goal is to get a fuckton of gold. Gold is the be-all-and-end-all of the seas, you need it for almost everything in the Sea of Thieves. And, most importantly, you need gold to buy clothes. After all, the second biggest goal in the Sea of Thieves is to look fucking awesome, to be the pirate with the most drip. However, clothes and gear can get pretty expensive. There’s clothing you can buy that easily hits the millions of gold, particularly the Dark Adventurer sets, and stuff from the Gold Hoarders. If you… [Continue Reading]

SPARK, WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU?

The other day, I opened Pokemon Go as normal, to do some research, catch some Pokemon, you know. Normal stuff. I did a Team Rocket battle and got a Shinx with a hat on it. That was weird. But what was weirder was when I appraised my Shinx. Spark was… different. He was very suddenly not very cool. Normally, Spark wears this cool black leather jacket with yellow trims and an awesome Zapdos necklace. But that look was clearly no more. For some reason, Spark ditched his normal clothes and made himself look like a stoner. He didn’t even have… [Continue Reading]

Destiny 2’s Shaders Just Don’t Seem Right

I like being able to customize my looks in multiplayer games. In a world where there’s more than one ‘chosen one’ and you’re running around in public, you want to look good. After all, you don’t want clones running around, do you? Every game has its own way of allowing you to customize your character, while also making money in the process. Destiny 2 is one such game that allows you to customize your character and how they look. But how it all works in Destiny 2… well, none of it seems right. Well, first off, you’re only customizing armour.… [Continue Reading]
