These days, most research tasks that ask you to catch Pokemon generally have a wide variety to catch. You’ll see tasks like “catch X fire type Pokemon” for example. Fighting type Pokemon are very valuable when it comes to raiding and PvP. There’s a lot of stuff weak to fighting, so you need a good team. Routes are a relatively new feature in Pokemon GO, and they are a royal pain in the arse. You have to follow a set path through goodness knows where, and there’s not much to do on them. Things That Annoy Me About The Buddy System in Pokemon GO
