Riveting Reviews of Randomness – Dino D-Day

Today is the final date for entries for our review contest! Get your entries in before midnight of today for a final chance to win some awesome games. And to celebrate the contest and spur you on, here’s my review for Dino D-Day. I’ve got so many unplayed games, but I don’t know why Dino D-Day is among them. Maybe it’s because most of the dinosaurs are Nazis, but it’s not really their fault. When I mentioned it to aabicus, among the many other unplayed games I have, he said that it was a ghost town. But is it? I… [Continue Reading]

What Dragonflight could do to be one of the best games ever

Well, in my opinion at least. As you might have seen, I’ve already reviewed Dragonflight. I also made a video about it on the SPUF of Legend. Since then, nothing has actually changed with the game, apart from the fact that I did eventually complete the one and only mission in the game. My flying has become a lot better, and I love doing awesome loop the loops. Most of my time is spent in the Free Flight mode, so I don’t have to sit through the opening slideshow. First things first, more levels. Lots more levels. Having two levels… [Continue Reading]

Not so Rawr – Dragon: The Game Review

Hiya, Phovos here, and today, I have a word of warning for you all. The other day, I got a refund on a game. Actually, to be precise, I allowed a gift to be refunded by the person who bought the game for me. I’ve never felt the need to do that before, but I felt that poor SilverWolf had been ripped off of a good €17 worth of money. He could have bought Pohatu, Master of Stone, for that amount and both he and I would have had fun. The game in question was Dragon: The Game. With a… [Continue Reading]

Rawr! – Dragonflight Review

Aabicus, being the awesome person he is, got me Dragonflight for my birthday. It’s a game that’s been sitting on my wishlist for a while, and, like the other dragon game on my wishlist, has been in Early Access for a while. Being the grateful content creator that I am, I decided to review the game. Dragonflight is a game in which you fly a wyvern (a two-wings, two-legs dragon) around and destroy things. The story is your standard stop-the-bad-guy-from-being-freed nonsense, where you steal the bones of an evil dragon before the enemy does. A bit like National Treasure but… [Continue Reading]

Syringes and Skeletons – Medic in Skyrim Part 1

So, I’m finally doing it. I’m playing through Skyrim as the Medic. Literally. Thanks to a bunch of mods that put a bunch of TF2 weapons into Skyrim, all held incredibly awkwardly, as well as an actually rather terrifying piece of armor that makes me look like various mercenaries, I can finally start a new game and not get bored. Of course, being the Medic, I’ve set up a few rules for myself: I have to wear my Medic armor for the entirety of the game. Because this armor doesn’t scale though (it’s basically iron armor for ever), I will… [Continue Reading]

What I do when I’m not playing TF2 – TESV Skyrim

I don’t play TF2 24/7. That’d be silly. And I’d get very sick of the game after not very long. Yes, the person called Medic does play other games. Most of the time, I play a healing passive role. Throw me into Dota 2 and I’ll find the most passive champion around and play that. Same with League of Legends. Borderlands 2 is slightly different, I basically become a pure healing Siren or a bullet sponge. My Berserker (named Heavy, heh), currently has, what, 10k health? And he’s not even on True Vault Hunter Mode yet. But yeah, normally I’m… [Continue Reading]
