On The Difficulty of Level 50 Pokemon

As of writing, the Pokemon with the highest CP I own is a 100% IVs Rhyperior, at level 49. Obtaining XL candy for this Pokemon has been nothing short of slow and random. Thankfully, in the Season of GO, Rhyhorns have been relatively common, especially in sunny weather. Weather that I see all the time. Thoughts on the December Community Weekend of 2020

December Community Day events are always interesting. Unlike previous months, which featured one Pokemon, December ones feature the whole year’s lineup. In 2018, this was quite a treat, as the Pokemon in the 2018 community days were ALL incredibly good. 2019 was also pretty good, since the 2018 Pokemon were in raids and eggs, and, again, almost all the 2019 featured Pokemon were great. Rhyhorn Community Day – Not Enough Rhyhorns

Rhyhorn is low-key one of my favourite Pokemon. This is the Pokemon I voted for back in the “Community Day Voting Event” thingy back at the beginning of the year, after searching Pokestops for the task. When we were presented with the four choices – Rhyhorn, Machop, Vulpix or Dratini, Rhyhorn won by quite a lot. And on February 22nd 2020, Rhyhorn finally got a Community Day. Now, Rhyhorn is a great Pokemon. Absolutely awesome. Sure, the Rhyhorn family is weak to Grass and Water, but it’s a strong, tanky Pokemon with a good combination of damage and bulk.
