Cliche And Trope-y Fashionframe

There’s a huge amount of customization in Warframe. You can change the colours of literally everything you own, from your Warframes to your guns to your swords to the dangly bits attached to your swords… All the way to things like your companions and even your massive spaceships. We have a multitude of colour palettes to choose from, not to mention skins, helmets and syandanas. But of course, even with so much to choose from, you still have people using the same old, overused schemes. I mean, just look at me, I can talk, with my everything being yellow with… [Continue Reading]

7km Eggs in Pokemon Go are Just Bad

There’s been a lot of events that have featured 7km eggs in Pokemon Go. From the event that made all 7km eggs only need to be walked 2km to be hatched, to the World Tourist Day event that put regional Kanto Pokemon in 7km eggs, to the recent Sinnoh event that briefly put Gible in 7km eggs, these bastard unhatched Pokemoon shell things are pretty vital to a lot of Pokemon Go activities. 7km eggs are also unique in the way you acquire them – they can only be obtained by opening gifts sent by other players, and any egg… [Continue Reading]

Retvik’s Ridiculous Guide to Rolling and Selling Rivens 2020 Edition

Riven mods are strange, multifaceted mods designed by Cephalon Samodeus (an otherwise unknown Cephalon), designed to fit into a single weapon and capable of having the mod’s stats rerolled by pumping thousands upon thousands of tons of Kuva into said mods. Riven mods are easily traded and can be incredibly valuable if you get very lucky. Alternatively they can just take up space in your Mod list, eventually accumulating to the point where you have to sell them or you can’t do Sorties any more. They also have the ability to make your favourite guns even better, despite their randomness… [Continue Reading]

Kuva Liches Could Have Been the Best Companions – The Problems with Converted Liches

The other day, I was attacked by my active Kuva Lich, one with an Ephemera and a 56% status weapon, i.e. an insanely good Lich to have. Unfortunately, this Lich in particular was immune to Corrosive and had a Toxin-based Kuva Bramma, so every shot it did would grenade a wide area with damage that ignored shields. Being a Toxin Kuva Lich, it also had two radiation-based abilities copied straight from an Oberon’s evil twin, meaning that fighting the Lich with a squad meant everyone would die. And on top of all of that, the asshole didn’t spawn for 8… [Continue Reading]

The Very Sudden Reappearance of Primed Chamber

A long time ago, back in the distant past of Warframe, there was a mod called Primed Chamber. It is a simple mod. If you install this mod on your sniper rifle, the first shot does up to 100% extra damage. But Primed Chamber, for the longest of times, was a prized reward. Why? Because no one owned Primed Chamber. Well, I say no one. I mean very few people. Originally, only 100 copies of the mod existed. The mod was given out during an event called the Spy Drone Extermination Event. All you had to do was shoot Grineer… [Continue Reading]

On Owning Pets

I’ve never really been a pet person. When I was little, I never had a pet and the only pet I knew of was Tinker, the old, derpy dog my nan used to look after. Tinker was cute and fluffy but I was little and he seemed huge and scary and I didn’t always see much of him. I actually didn’t really get a pet until I was an adult, and even then, they were someone else’s pets. I just happened to share a house with them. That being said, we’ve actually had a couple of blog posts here on… [Continue Reading]

Ivara Skathi Skin and Other Metallic Models

Alongside the Kuva Lich 2020 Vision update (the update didn’t really have a proper name!), we got a few new weapons in the form of Kuva weapons and variants, and we also got a deluxe skin for Ivara. It’s not that uncommon to have a deluxe skin come out not long after a primed Warframe, since generally they take longer to do – while a Prime Warframe is the same base frame with a new helmet and some pretty dangly bits (and I assume the weapons take longer because they are new models), a deluxe skin is a completely fresh… [Continue Reading]

So Many Costumed Pokemon

February 2020 is absolutely jam-packed with events for some reason, with everything from a Pokemon Day on 27th February to the return of Armoured Mewtwo, Tornadus coming to raids and the entire month starting with a new research Pokemon with a heart on its nose and a research day for Minccino. In fact, there’s a lot of content in general, but at the same time… there are a lot of Pokemon in costumes to deal with. Actually, there are a lot of costumed Pokemon coming out lately… On the surface, this doesn’t sound like a great thing. We’re only slowly… [Continue Reading]

Medic Plays Payday 2 Again

A long time ago, I played Payday 2. I didn’t particularly enjoy it because I was thrown in the deep end and had no idea what I was doing or anything like that. I spent most of my time crouched in corners, shooting wildly at anything that came too close, while constantly dying and running out of ammo. At the time, I had no idea how the game worked, what I had to do or what was going on. Frankly, my first experience put me right off of playing Payday 2 because I felt so damn useless. I did have… [Continue Reading]

Chilling Out Closing Void Fissues

Now that I have pretty much everything in Warframe mastered and used and out of the way, I often find myself wondering what to do, where to spend my time and what I need to do next. I mean, I’ve got a Lich that’s been waiting for me to fight it for the last three weeks, but I don’t really want to do that. The only things I have left to master are K-Drives and Archwing gear and those aren’t going to happen until the next time I get an affinity booster from my daily login rewards. So what do… [Continue Reading]
