An Article About Our Trickster Warframe

I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Loki. When it comes to invisible Warframes, Loki was my first, and I got him pretty early on. He was also, surprisingly, the Warframe I ended up taking when I did the quest the War Within, where I unlocked my Operator’s true potential… and kinda left Loki trapped in a Grineer trash heap for two weeks while I struggled with invisible Golden Maws. But time has been cruel to the Trickster Warframe, and he’s really struggling to remain even remotely feasible these days. Today, I am going to discuss how… [Continue Reading]

Dagath’s Backstory – So Screwing Warframes is Fine…

Being a good clan warlord, when Dagath came out, we got that room pretty much instantly. Between Inquizitor and myself, we built the room, fed it the materials it needed and then wasted some Platinum on getting it built instantly. Once we had the room done, we went in,m grabbed the blueprints for Dagath and her weapon and that was pretty much it. It wasn’t until I noticed I could alter my Kaithe in that room (although my Kaithe always appears invisible to me) that I noticed that Dagath has LORE. And not just any lore, but lore read by… [Continue Reading]

Porygon Community Day Classic

I swear, they only ever seem to bring back the more useless Pokemon for Community Day Classic events. Hence why, on Jan 20th, we had the return of Porygon, which appeared in a Community Day back in September 2020. Which was a long time ago, but, well, Porygon isn’t exactly the most amazing of creatures. This Community Day Classic was nothing special either. The bonus was x3 catch experience, meaning you can get a nice, easy 3k experience one excellent throw. Incense and Lure Modules lasted for 3 hours if activated during the event. Those were the only bonuses, we… [Continue Reading]

My Least Favourite Warframe Mission Types

Warframe has a lot of mission types, from your basic exterminate missions to complicated messes like Alchemy and Void Cascade. However, some missions are definitely not as good as others. Here are some of the… more annoying ones. Archon Hunt Spy Spy missions in general are slightly slower paced than most. The puzzles themselves aren’t that bad, even if the AI can get to you at times, but there’s often massive stretches of nothingness between each Spy vault you need to access. Archon Hunt Spy missions are made worse in two ways. Firstly, there’s only three tile sets available for… [Continue Reading]

The Pokemon I Hate Catching in Pokemon GO

Every Pokemon in Pokemon GO has a different hitbox. If you want to be able to get Excellent throws all the time, then you need both patience and the chance to catch these Pokemon. But some Pokemon are really damn annoying to catch. Here are the ones I hate catching the most. Trubbish Trubbish does two annoying things. Firstly, it’s a pain in the ass to actually catch, often requiring an ultra ball and/or berry. Secondly, it’s kinda far away, and it has a funky hitbox, where Pokeballs will hit it but just bounce off the floor. But the thing… [Continue Reading]

99% of Pokemon in Pokemon GO are pointless

The other day, aabicus and I were discussing our recent catches in various Pokemon games. I was lamenting on how an XXL shiny Darumaka had fled on me, while he was showing off his shiny Azumaril, which had Stellar as its Tera type. As we chatted, we both came to an agreement that, well, 99% of the Pokemon we catch in Pokemon GO were pointless. In a normal Pokemon game, you generally catch what you like, you become friends with these Pokemon and you take them all the way to the Elite Four. Of course, plenty of Pokemon end up… [Continue Reading]

What Was Our Deal With the Man In The Wall Anyway?

A quick heads up, this article contains spoilers from the Whispers in the Walls quest. I’ll be discussing one of the key parts of the quest, so you should probably go and play Whispers in the Walls first. I recommend taking an Excalibur, mostly for the cool scene in the second part of the quest, mostly for the sake of immersion. There is a defense mission, but it’s Mirror Defense, so the target will protect itself once you’ve collected enough thingies. You don’t really get much of a chance to switch frame, but I also recommend shoving some mods into… [Continue Reading]

Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day

It’s nice that we’re getting more raid days. So far, we’ve had Hisuian Samurott, Wyrdeer and now Hisuian Typhlosion, with Hisuian Decidueye coming next month. It’s nice to get some free raid passes, not get a shiny and start eating into your premium raid passes, hoping you’ll finally get some better luck. But yeah, on Jan 14th, we had a raid day for Hisuian Typhlosion. Now, there’s something about Hisuian Typhlosion that kinda creeps me out. It’s too… drunk. It looks like it wants to seduce you in an alleyway, steal your soul then take your car on a joyride.… [Continue Reading]

On Not Finding Terastallizing Not That Useful

I’ve been playing a bit of Pokemon Scarlet lately, preparing teams in order to battle the Elite 4. Most of my farming though has been doing Tera Raids, solely for the items, since those raids don’t seem to give experience. But I’ve also been doing Tera Raids in order to try and find something interesting. I’ve… kinda failed at that so far. The idea behind Terastallizing is pretty cool. Your Pokemon turns into its Tera type, which can be any of 18 different types, it gets all shiny and crystal-y, and gets an ugly, stupid jewel crown representing said type… [Continue Reading]

How to Maximize Your Daily Incense

It turns out, I was wrong about the Daily Incense in Pokemon GO. I always thought that the Daily Adventure Incense was pretty simple. It would just spit out one Pokemon every minute, meaning you could ever only get 15 Pokemon total. But no, it’s more complicated than that. It turns out, you can get a lot more Pokemon out of a single Incense. The way the Daily Adventure Incense works is simple. It lasts for 15 minutes, and the more you walk, the more Pokemon spawn. The spawn rate is pretty simple. Every 30 seconds, the game checks to… [Continue Reading]
