Dynamax Raids are Weird

Funnily enough, the one thing I find closest to Pokemon GO in Pokemon Shield is the raid battle system. As in, both games have raids. That similarity is in name only though, because raid work differently in both games, and you can only solo some raids in Pokemon GO, not the majority of them in Pokemon Shield, and GO raids require a lot of tapping, while Shield/Sword raids require taking turns. Research tasks in Pokemon GO are quite simple. You spin a Pokestop, you get given a task and you do that task for a reward. There are a few Pokemon in the Pokemon universe that start off as small and weak, then evolve into something amazing. Magikarp is probably the most famous for this*. It’s a weak fish that only knows Tackle and Splash, and if you have the patience, you can evolve it into a massive sea not-a-dragon.
