On The Difficulty of Level 50 Pokemon

As of writing, the Pokemon with the highest CP I own is a 100% IVs Rhyperior, at level 49. Obtaining XL candy for this Pokemon has been nothing short of slow and random. Thankfully, in the Season of GO, Rhyhorns have been relatively common, especially in sunny weather. Weather that I see all the time. Still, even with walking the former 100% Rhydon for candy, it’s taken a good chunk of this season to even get this far. Simply put, level 50 is a hard target to reach. This Pokemon season is called the Season of GO. Yes, it’s a stupid name, but June – August are generally when Pokemon GO has its biggest events. Rhyhorn Community Day – Not Enough Rhyhorns

Rhyhorn is low-key one of my favourite Pokemon. This is the Pokemon I voted for back in the “Community Day Voting Event” thingy back at the beginning of the year, after searching Pokestops for the task. When we were presented with the four choices – Rhyhorn, Machop, Vulpix or Dratini, Rhyhorn won by quite a lot. And on February 22nd 2020, Rhyhorn finally got a Community Day.
