Today, Team Fortress celebrates its 18th birthday! Now it can go out and drink and drive and all that… Depending on what country or state you’re in. Finally, TF2 has gone mobile!

Howdy guys! My name is Varun Iyer, and I’d like to share with you guys a mobile app that I specifically designed for TF2 Players. Well, first of all I’d like to say that this was a project I started recently because I noticed that TF2 wasn’t going mobile. Specifically, features that many people use, such as trading, viewing their backpack, and price-lists for buying and selling items wasn’t available on mobile devices. Misha the Heavy Weapons Guy gets a lot of bad press. Especially on this blog. I’ve seen articles trashing him and saying he’s failed as a class in TF2. They point out that, compared to classes like the Soldier, he has less weapons to choose from and few reliable ways to cover his main weakness, lack of speed. Don’t turn invisible and think you’re invincible: they’re completely different words. Don’t go running after the person you’re disguised as. Don’t try to backstab somebody in the front or while surrounded by a dozen other enemies. Don’t kill an Engineer if he has an operational Sentry nearby.
