Medic Plays Definitely Not A Saints Row Game – Part 0

Does anyone here remember Agents of Mayhem? No? I don’t blame you. Agents of Mayhem is a game made by the same people who made Saints Rows 3 to 4. But it isn’t a Saints Row game. It’s definitely not one. Agents of Mayhem is a whole solo adventure set in another city, not at all related to the Saints Row series. Except, well, it really looks like a Saints Row game, what with all the familiar purple symbols everywhere. Anyway, it’d be wrong to judge a game by its cover, so I’ve decided to play Agents of Mayhem, just… [Continue Reading]

Cool Sciency Stuff That I Don’t Get

Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of stuff on Youtube. While my desire to play games is dulled, I need to do something with my free time. Something that isn’t writing. So yeah, Youtube time it is. But I’ve not been sitting here, watching any old bollocks. I’ve been watching sciency things. And I’d be lying if I said I understood it all. So what sciency things have I been watching? Mostly quantum stuff. You know, the building blocks of the universe. But damn is this stuff confusing. I mean, it’s what the universe is made of, of course it’s… [Continue Reading]

Happy Birthday, Team Fortress 2

On October 10th 2007, Team Fortress 2 was released. Now, 15 years later, it’s still going strong. Okay, maybe not that strong, but we are still getting a handful of updates to this day. The yearly Scream Fortress event has been activated and we just got a handful of cool and interesting maps. There are still plenty of players picking up the game, and it’s still Free to Play. While there may not be as many active players as there used to be, it’s still easy enough to jump into a server and just start playing. Admittedly, it’s been hard… [Continue Reading]

Little Things I’d Like To See Fixed or Changed in Warframe

One of the nice things about Warframe is that every update is free, and so are all the bugs and glitches and stuff. However, these things are quickly patched up in hotfixes. However, there are tons of tiny little things that can sit unfixed for a long, long time. Sometimes, they’re not really actually broken, they’re just… not very good. They’re little things I’d like to see fixed or changed. Blast Procs Blast used to be my favourite damage type. It was amazing, because it could ragdoll enemies and send them flying. Blast is the reason I kept the Sonicor… [Continue Reading]

A Weird Gyarados Event

On October 8th, we had an event in Pokemon GO featuring Mega Gyarados. This was a raid event, in which every raid was a Mega Gyarados, with a higher chance of getting a shiny one. Everyone would get 5 free raid passes, and there was plenty of Mega Candy to be earned. But this event didn’t go as smoothly as everyone would have liked. The event started early At 11am, a Mega Gyarados spawned over the two new gyms near my home. Which was surprising, because the event was scheduled to start at 2pm. Turns out, Niantic started the event… [Continue Reading]

Things I’d Like Pokemon Buddies to do

I love the whole buddy system in Pokemon GO. It’s like having a little virtual companion that doesn’t need much maintenance. However, considering how long it takes to get to Best Buddies, the incentives for doing so are a bit… lackluster. So today I’ll be musing about some extra incentives that I’d like to see. Spin Pokestops Buddies actually already have a thing to do with pokestops, but it’s not that useful. After all, we can already see Pokestops we haven’t visited yet. The buddy just doesn’t do anything useful. However, we can put our Pokemon to work by having… [Continue Reading]

Early Thoughts and Speculations on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

I’m not normally one to speculate about new Pokemon games. After all, I only really play Pokemon GO, which is currently in spooky mode. But after having played Pokemon Sword, I think I cam finally look forward to a new Pokemon game. So far, I’ve liked what I’ve seen with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. But I do have some thoughts. What I don’t have are any pictures, so have this picture of the Kanto starters. Because I’m pretty certain we’ll get some new form for Charizard. Not seen many new Pokemon Cyclizar in particular stands out. It’s a Dragon/Normal type… [Continue Reading]

A Ramble About Sandwiches

I have a funny relationship with sandwiches. Sometimes I love them, sometimes I hate them. I don’t know why, but sandwiches are very hit or miss with me. Recently, I went right off sandwiches, but the other day, I made myself one and it was nice. I then wondered why I had been holding back on sandwich and overall bread consumption. Right now though, I really want a sandwich. So, uh, let’s talk sandwiches. It’s the bread The thing that often turns me away from sandwiches is honestly the main component. The bread. There are tons of different breads to… [Continue Reading]

The Curiosity that is Meltan

The other day, while I was making room in my backpack in Pokemon GO, I scrolled past the Mysterious Box. This box is obtained by transferring a Pokemon to either Pokemon Let’s Go! or Pokemon Home. Opening the box releases a mysterious scent that attracts a very unusual Pokemon. This Pokemon is Meltan, the most unusual of Mythical Pokemon. A Unique Mythical It turns out, Meltan is unique in a lot of different ways. Not only is Meltan a Pokemon you can get multiple of, but it’s also the only mythical that is obtained outside of the main Pokemon game… [Continue Reading]

On Ultra Beast Raids

The Ultra Beasts in Pokemon are a weird concept. They’re basically legendary Pokemon but not. All of them are from different dimensions and only appear in our real world via wormholes – Ultra Wormholes. These Pokemon have amazing strength, and, despite not being Legendary Pokemon, they have similar stats and details. And now these mysterious Pokemon are appearing in Pokemon GO as well. They’re pretty cool. I must admit, the designs for the Ultra Beasts are pretty cool. You can tell that they’re not normal Pokemon just by looking at them. There is one thing that does help separate these… [Continue Reading]
