Warframe Weapons that I Completely Forgot About but Used to Use all the Time

The other day, I was looking back through some old Warframe screenshots when I made a sudden realization. My weapons these days are all powerful ones, like the Kuva Bramma or the Arca Plasmor. But I wasn’t always kitted up. There was a lot of time spent leveling up weapons then moving onto the next one. However, even with my many years of grinding the newest shiny, there were weapons that I loved which, unfortunately, ended up getting forgotten about. Here’s to a trip down memory lane for some of my old favourites. Rakta Cernos I’ve always liked bows, they’re… [Continue Reading]

On Making The Worst Warframe Specter Ever

A while back, I looked at Warframe Specters. These DIY clones can offer fantastic support, and are cheap to make and use. Well, the basic ones are cheap to use, but cosmic specters are a bit too pricey. That being said, at higher levels, there’s not much difference between the different specter types anyway. Either way, there are some great specters to choose from, like Wisp and Nidus. However, a thought occurred to me lately. What if I tried to make the WORST specter possible? How bad could it be? Limbo It’s no competition here. The Limbo Specter does basically… [Continue Reading]

More Legendary Pokemon in the Wild Seems Like a Cool Idea

One of the more interesting things about the Johto tour was the appearance of Legendary Pokemon in the wild. Mimicking the behavior from the original games, we had the Legendary Beasts spawning in the wild, with a 99% chance to flee. However, that got me thinking. Why don’t we have wild Legendary Pokemon? Not all Legendaries, of course. We can’t have Mewtwos spawning everywhere now, can we? I mean, we could totally have Mewtwo spawning everywhere, but I don’t think the developers or the shareholders would appreciate that. However, other, somewhat lesser Legendary Pokemon could be interesting. After all, there… [Continue Reading]

A Like and Dislike for Mega Raids in Pokemon GO

It seems that most people have somewhat accepted Mega Pokemon. Now that there are easier ways to earn Mega Candy, and the Megas stay around for 8 hours, it’s all just about acceptable. Yet still, there’s something about Mega Raids that irks me. They’re just not quite right. No one really wants to do them If you’re unlucky enough to miss a debut of a mega Pokemon, then you probably won’t find many people hosting them. At least, that’s the problem I’ve been having with Mega Raids. I couldn’t get people to join in Manectric raids nor Ampharos. But even… [Continue Reading]

Zero IV Pokemon VS 100% IV Pokemon

The other day, I found something cool. While on my little walk, hoping to hatch a couple of eggs. As I wandered around, I spotted a Ferroseed and decided on a whim to catch it. I’m not normally a fan of the steel/grass type, but it looks cool, and I could always do with more candy. Turns out though, this Ferroseed was special. Amazingly, it had 0 IVs what so ever. After that, I then checked my Pokemon storage, remembering that I also have a 100% Ferroseed somewhere. So I decided to evolve both of these Ferroseeds into Ferrothorns, and,… [Continue Reading]

A Collection of Evil Pokemon

Sometimes it’s nice to make your own fun, do your own things. While playing Pokemon GO, I tend to clear out backpack space all the time, and get rid of Pokemon with low stats and low CPs. However, a while back, my brother started collecting Pokemon that had 69 CP. He’s built  a big collection, and he also suggested that I do something similar. The number I chose? 666. Because why not. I had considered doing either 42 or 404, but 666 just looks more appealing to me. They’re not actually evil. Well, as far as I’m aware, they’re not… [Continue Reading]

Probably the Worst Timed Research Ever

Just before the Johto tour event, Pokemon GO had a “restocking” event where we could save up Pokeballs for the upcoming tour. Called the Poké Ball Prep Rally, it is designed to give you plenty of Pokeballs. The bonuses of this event were that your buddy would bring extra Pokeballs as gifts and some ball-shaped Pokemon were spawning. Oh, and this event also included probably the worst Timed Research I’ve ever seen. 100% NOT WORTH IT! The timed research for this prep rally were as follows: Spin Pokestops, send gifts and open research tasks. Do those three once, then do… [Continue Reading]

The Johto Tour – A Mild Opinion

Back on Saturday, we got our second ever Pokemon Tour event, this time visiting the Johto region. During this tour, we saw Pokemon from different areas of Johto spawning in particular biomes, with the spawns changing every hour. Alongside the event, we had tons of raids and shinies to grab, and a massive collect-a-thon, in which we could catch the entirety of the Johto Pokedex. However, was the Johto tour as good as the Kanto tour in 2021? Well, I guess… The Johto Tour was mostly just like the Kanto Tour. The biomes were the same, as were the Pokemon.… [Continue Reading]

Attack Form Deoxys and a Desire for more Solo Raids

As of writing, we’ve got Deoxys in raids in Pokemon GO. But it’s not just any Deoxys, we got Attack Form Deoxys. What’s so special about that? Well, Attack Form Deoxys is one of the very, very few level 5 raids you can fight solo and actually win. The last time Deoxys’s forms were around, I didn’t have as good a team as I wanted, but also lacked the confidence. This time though, I had no such problems. Defeating a Level 5 Raid is generally hard For most Legendary raids, you will need at minimum one or two extra players.… [Continue Reading]

Smart and Oblivious

While playing Destiny 2 earlier, I found myself in a mission that I had never seen before. Apparently there was a ziggurat that needed to be protected from the Vex and their corrupting energy. It took me far too long to work out what I had to do, and I basically failed the mission a bunch of times because I didn’t get it. I had to get some help on the matter. Alongside that help came a small nugget of embarrassment. How could someone as smart as me not understand that the Vex weren’t allowed near the main structures? Now,… [Continue Reading]
