Major League Magic May 25th Tournament Results!

Yesterday the second-ever Major League Magic tournament happened between 16 players, many of whom returned from our March 9th tournament. Everybody had a blast, and we actually made something of a splash on Twitch, with over 30 viewers at peak levels thanks to our fans spreading the word on Twitter! Everybody really seemed to love the terrain-manipulation elements, as the players’ spell selections crafted the arena into mountain-ridden hellscapes, empty desiccated plains, and everything in between. In the end, Jason won 1st place and became the first ever undefeated champion in a Major League Magic tournament (last tournament’s winner, Joey, reached the… [Continue Reading]

There are 5 different cars and over a dozen different powerups, and I’ll once again be shoutcasting the tournament! Tournament begins Friday, May 18th at 3:00 PST. Hope to see you… [Continue Reading]

Sanctuary Onslaught – An Excuse to Kill Stuff

The Sanctuary Onslaught mission is now available to play. Cephalon Simaris, the orange AI who love getting all in your face, has invited you to his datascape in order to do some experiments for him. He offers you two difficulties, a normal version and an ‘elite’ version, which is just a fancy way of saying hard mode, with much higher level enemies. Simaris wants to do tests in efficiency and lethality, and up until now, he has been recreating battles inside his Sanctuary in order to study how quickly and efficiently things die. But after so many tests, he wants… [Continue Reading]

Plague Star Has Returned!

From April 5th to April 17th, Plague Star is back, bringing Infested and a massive, hideous lump of cancerous matter to the middle of the Plains of Eidolon. The event is a platform-wide operation, affecting the Plains no matter what if you’re on PC, and is probably coming back to Console versions in 2-3 weeks. The way Plague Star works is pretty much the same as last time. You grab the Infested Catalyst blueprint from your Clan Dojo, you build some and equip them in your gear slot, you accept the bounty from Konzu in Cetus, you head out to… [Continue Reading]

Razorback Armadas and Balor Fomorians – Recurring Tactical Alerts and How to Do Them

All those invasions you do? They do something. They help the Grineer and the Corpus fund their massive projects. Yes, us Tenno have defeated the Balor Fomorians a dozen times. Yes, us Tenno have destroyed the Razorback Armada a dozen times. Yet we keep on helping them, thus they keep on building the funds to restart these projects and have to fight them again. It’s all our fault really, but dag nabbit, we NEED those Detonite Injectors and Fieldrons! So how do we do these missions? It’s not always obvious. The Lotus pops by, drops an item in our inventory… [Continue Reading]

Holy fucking Shit – TennoCon 2017

So July 8th 2017 was the date of the second TennoCon, basically a Warframe convention hosted in London, Ontario, Canada, where Digital Extremes do tons of cool Warframe stuff. Like last year, they ended the convention with a live, streamed section where they talk to the audience, answer questions and reveal upcoming stuff. This stuff included things like the next Primed Warframe, which will be Hydroid Prime (which looks pretty neat); the next Warframe to be released, a currently unnamed ‘Glass’ Warframe with an exalted weapon and shapeshifting abilities; and a set of new Tennogen (i.e. Steam store) items, including… [Continue Reading]

An Autistic Space Kid – The Chains of Harrow Update

So the Chains of Harrow update is here, on time and chock-block full of stuff. Earth got remastered, melee weapon Riven Mods are now a thing, there’s a new update, a ton of QOL changes, raids being broken again and a new quest. I’m just going to talk about the quest, because a lot of this stuff would be better off in their own articles. Just so you know, tons of spoilers ahead. But it was obvious from the update page alone that the subject of this quest, Rell, was autistic. Couldn’t have made it more obvious if they’d tried.… [Continue Reading]

The Razorback Armada Returns

So a while back, when Nidus came out, invasions between the Grineer and Corpus were given a little more meaning. For every invasion that was won by one side, they would spend 12 hours occupying the location they’d won and they’d build progress to one of two gigantic enemies. The Grineer are working on a Formorian Fleet and the Corpus are working on a Razorback Armada. Well, the Corpus got there first, probably because they offered us better loot to fight for them, and now we’ve got to fight this… thing as a weekend event. But before we do so,… [Continue Reading]
