The Best Stealth Options in Warframe

Stealth in Warframe is a bit finicky. On the one hand, stealth can be hard to maintain, mostly because of how enemy AI works. On the other hand, stealth is mostly optional for about 90% of the game. However, when you do need stealth, there are, luckily, plenty of options. So here are five options for when you need to be stealthy. Ivara The number one option for stealth HAS to be Ivara. Ivara is built to be stealthy. Not only can she remain invisible for an insanely long time, but she can also distract enemies, put them to sleep… [Continue Reading]

Ranking Exalted Weapons – Warframe’s Best and Worst Exalted Weaponry

Exalted weapons are awesome. The ability to suddenly summon a weapon of death out of thin air is just so cool. Even if you’re already armed with an explosive bow, the badassery of summoning another bow is too cool to pass up. But there are lots of exalted weapons, and they’re all definitely not equal. In today’s article, I’m going to rank all twelve exalted weapons. Note: this is mostly based on personal opinion. You can get HUGE damage numbers on all of these. In fact, properly modded, these are all insane. But I like to consider usability and coolness… [Continue Reading]

Ivara Skathi Skin and Other Metallic Models

Alongside the Kuva Lich 2020 Vision update (the update didn’t really have a proper name!), we got a few new weapons in the form of Kuva weapons and variants, and we also got a deluxe skin for Ivara. It’s not that uncommon to have a deluxe skin come out not long after a primed Warframe, since generally they take longer to do – while a Prime Warframe is the same base frame with a new helmet and some pretty dangly bits (and I assume the weapons take longer because they are new models), a deluxe skin is a completely fresh… [Continue Reading]

Fun Warframe Augments

Warframe augments are a funny bunch. Some Warframe augments are rather useless or are too niche to be able to use them most of the time, especially since we have limited space for mods. Some augments allow you to tweak the way you play a Warframe. Some augment mods are insanely strong and make a Warframe ten times better. Some augments are so strong that you wonder why they’re not a part of the Warframe’s default kit in the first place, especially on weaker and less popular frames. But some augments are simply… fun. Here are some of the augments… [Continue Reading]

Why Khora, Ivara and Volt?

I’ll be honest, I really, really liked Medicinal Warlock’s series of articles on why he plays various TF2 classes. I actually considered doing something similar, but frankly 1. I didn’t want to copy him directly, 2. his reasons for playing each class are actually pretty similar to mine already (especially Pyro…) and 3. I’ve actually already written various articles on why I play various classes. In fact, we’ve had other people write articles on TF2 classes as well. I’ll just do an article about Warframe choices then. Because why not. So yeah, I really like three frames in particular. Long… [Continue Reading]

The Sneak Thief of Warframe

Anyone who’s played Skyrim knows that the cheesiest way to play is to be a Stealth Archer. You maximize your Stealth and Archery skills and pick off enemies one at a time, with the dumb AI never really working out what’s going on. It’s a slow process, inching along and clearing everything out one by one. That sort of playstyle doesn’t work in Warframe though, does it? Well, kinda. Ivara is probably the closest thing to a typical Skyrim stealth character, and is by far the stealthiest Warframe in the game. While fellow stealth users Loki, Ash and Octavia can… [Continue Reading]

On Stealth Warframes

So I had to play Loki the other day. I was farming the Plague Star mission with a group and they requested that I go Loki to help speed things up. By speed things up, they mean by using Switch Teleport to get the drone moving faster. Honestly I think I actually made the mission take longer, because multiple times I accidentally Switch Teleported team mates instead of the drone. Mostly my fault, but they WERE standing right next to the bastard. Still, it got me thinking about things. Mostly about stealth. Stealth in Warframe is pretty hard to obtain… [Continue Reading]
