Who The Fuck IS Nora Night?

There are tons of mysterious entities in Warframe. From Erra, the Sentient brother of the Lotus, to Onkko and the Quills, all the way to Paladino, Ergo Glast and the Syndicate leaders, we have a lot of crazies. All these strange people who easily communicate with us. Some of these beings only appear once in quests. Or they appear in snapshots and visions, like Erra and the Man in the Wall. But there’s one person who came out from absolutely nowhere. I know we’ve talked about Nightwave a lot lately, but we need to have a look at Nora Night.… [Continue Reading]

Nightwave Season 3 Is Basically Already Finished

As of this week, if you have done every single Nightwave task so far, you’ve probably reached level 30. If you have done most of them and skipped a few dailies, then level 30 should be available next week. It’s been, what, five weeks? And Nightwave Season 3 is basically already finished if you play regularly. So, how was it? Meh. Overall, I’d give this season a solid meh/10. It’s nice that we got enemies to farm extra standing from right off the bat, but, if I’m truly honest, this might as well been more of Nightwave Intermission 2. There… [Continue Reading]

On Suddenly Not Caring About This Murder Mystery

At the time of writing, I am at rank 26 of Nightwave. I just got my Umbral Forma which I will proceed to not use. Before that, I got my Warframe slot, which I used for Protea. The Nightwave tasks haven’t been too bad, aside from the headache caused by capturing a Hydralyst. But what about the whole murder mystery thing? I just don’t care. Well, that’s not 100% true. I do care a little bit. In fact, the fact that I manage to catch these early on has gotten us some nice views over on the SPUF of Legend.… [Continue Reading]

Glassmaker’s Mystery Interactive Cinematic Is Kinda Weird

In previous Nightwaves, Nora Night simply had a story to tell. One that somewhat unfolded in a linear way. Although the cinematics were nice, they were pretty damn basic. Even a kid could probably work out that the Wolf didn’t like Alad V or that the Infested would attack. The Glassmaker’s story however is supposed to be a murder mystery, one that the Tenno have to uncover. With Nora voicing over it, of course. We have to do the work. Nora Night has given us a crime scene to investigate. A digital one, pulled out from the Weave, which is… [Continue Reading]

How To Make Your Nightwave Activities More Efficient

Nightwave Series 3 is here and it’s filled with yet more daily and weekly activities to do. The Glassmaker is this series’s theme and it’s all about a murder mystery! Someone is going around turning people to glass and sucking souls out of people! And it’s up to us to stop them! But we aren’t here to talk about that! We’re here to talk about how to make the Nightwave grind easier. The majority of Nightwave is weekly and daily tasks. But we need to do them efficiently. How though? With these steps, of course! The obvious answer: Combine as… [Continue Reading]

Nightwave Intermission 2 Was Okay But Could Have Been So Much Better

This sounds like a weird thing to say, but I actually didn’t mind the stupidly long Intermission 2 that much. Sure, it was around for a very long time, but Nightwave was something… just there. Unlike the main episodes, Nightwave Intermission 2 could be done at a leisurely pace. But it was also something you could completely forget about, or even finish with ease. Since it’s ending today, I feel like we should talk about it. Yes, Intermission 2 went on for far too long. In fact, it went on for so long that DE had to increase the cap.… [Continue Reading]

A Distinct Lack of Nightwave Content

One of the more recent patches for Warframe came with a strange piece of text. The maximum rank for Nightwave was changed from 60 to 90. But Nightwave only really goes up to rank 30, right? Rank 30, plus 30 more prestige ranks? Not quite. Those extra 30 ranks are what rank 60 was. Why did this happen? Because people did Nightwave tasks to the point that they would hit prestige rank 90. This small change points out a massive problem with Nightwave. There is not enough Nightwave content Or, at least, it doesn’t refresh regularly enough. You see, the… [Continue Reading]

Nightwave Intermission 2 – A Repetitive Chore for Repeating Items

So Nightwave Season 2 finished with a shitty conclusion that didn’t really tell us anything apart from the fact that people are bad and easily tricked and there’s more infestation roaming around Eris. That ended back on the 13th of October, but to fill the gap between Season 2 and Season 3, we’ve got a Nightwave Intermission. Again. Now normally I wouldn’t complain. The first intermission was great because it was short and easy and simple. 15 levels which you could complete in about a month, with one new thing in it and a bunch of useful stuff for newer… [Continue Reading]

Emissary Derelict Assassinate – The New Zealot Boss Fight

Nightwave’s the Emissary has had its story come to an end, with Arlo basically being dead and a new infested cult joining the fray. Arlo was nothing more than a trick to get more people infected and infested and it worked brilliantly. Not only do we now have more Infested running around but now we have new bosses that we need to deal with, spreading their disease in Emissary Derelicts. Because we totally needed more mutagenic hive mind infestations running around. The conclusion to the Emissary was to be expected, but right now I’m pissed off with the new boss… [Continue Reading]

Icky Infested Invasions and Other Nightwave Messes

So part 4 of the Emissary, Nightwave’s current episode, just came out and it’s… kinda gross. Of course, there’s been this cult running around, worshiping a kid called Arlo who supposedly has healing hands, and he’s been healing a bunch of people and ended up becoming the head of an infested cult. Of course, because of said cult, there are nasty zealots running around who seem to think that if you don’t join, you should die, and they’re not very nice, especially since they use a lot if infested stuff. And of course, the Infestation is, uh, highly infectious. So… [Continue Reading]
