A Deserted AI, Trapped Forever in Space

Just as I started writing this article, I realised that I hadn’t really covered the Sacrifice in any meaningful way. I did a spoiler-free review when I completed the quest and I wrote about the Warframe you get from it. I also wrote about the vile treatment of Ordis during that quest. But I didn’t write about the quest itself. It was okay, but Ordis’s treatment in that quest makes me sad. Which reminded me of another unfortunate Cephalon. And that brings me nicely to the ancient quest known as the Jordas Precept. On the scale of good and bad… [Continue Reading]

Ordis Deserves Better

I’ve been meaning to write another article about our good friend Ordis for a while, and the Sacrifice is the perfect opportunity to do so. All these years, Ordis has been by our side, helping us out, looking after our quarters, sorting out our Warframes and building our weapons for us. Ever since we woke up, weak and confused, Ordis has been there. Heck, he was the third person to speak to us, after Captain Vor threatening us and Lotus waking us up. Ordis has always been there. Because Ordis cares about you and will happily die for you if he has to. But not many people care about Ordis. His repeating lines, his bad humor, his error-induced puns, his violent outburts and that damn Grineer not-a-number witticism often drive… [Continue Reading]

Octavia’s Anthem – The Trouble with Cephalons

On Friday 24th, Update 20 came out for Warframe. Dubbed Octavia’s Anthem, it boasted “30 pages” of updates, fixes and changes. They were not wrong. The update was just over 1GB to download, amd featured the new Warframe Octavia, as well as the quest to obtain her. Octavia’s Anthem is an… interesting quest to say the least. NOTE: SPOILERS AHEAD. I can’t really write a non-spoiler-y review of this quest as it is SUPER lore-heavy. As always, you have to talk to someone. If you have access to the quest (which requires the War Within to be completed), you can… [Continue Reading]
