Revisiting Old Warframe Bosses

One of the nicer things about Nightwave is that you can end up redoing content, old and new. The same can also be said with the Tenno missions we’ve had coming up to Tennocon. Warframe has a lot of different bosses and I’ve had a chance to re-experience a good number of them. And some of them are better than others. The most recent thing I had to redo was Exploiter Orb. The Ropalolyst – The Worst Best Boss or the Best Worst Boss?

Ah, Nightwave. Bless its cotton socks. It exists to give us free things and remind us of things we’d forgotten about. In this case, an elite Weekly task was to simply kill the Ropalolyst. A very easy 7,000 standing for anyone who’s completed the Sacrifice. Except… ugh, the Ropalolyst fight is bloody awful, for all the wrong reasons. A great fight, but easily ruined. So we murder the Ropalolyst, a certain someone gets all pissed off, Alad V is happy and we get some minor loot in the form… [Continue Reading]

An Unwelcome Monologue

The Jovian Concord brings with it some very strange new… story elements. We discovered in the later end of Night Wave episode 1 that Alad V was making Amalgam beings – beings that were part Sentient, part something else, and that whole Sentient Hybrid thing is basically a massive part of this new update. Actually, it’s the main theme of this update, probably more so than “Jupiter gets a makeover”. There’s more Sentients in this update than on the Plains of Eidolon. And the Plains of Eidolon are covered with bits of dead Sentient. Spoilers ahead, by the way. But… [Continue Reading]
