I really cannot fathom what does having representation in a game’s cast have to do with anything. The reason why I raised this up is because I have seen many people asking for more representation in games. Whether it be representation for females, LGBT, minorities, or any demographic that isn’t a straight white guy, their reason is always: “Those people should be represented in video games.” If the game’s lore implies that the cast should feature characters that aren’t straight white guys, then sure, they should be there. Grim Fandango Remastered currently available for free on GOG.com – 13/12/17

There’s been a bunch of free games lately that I haven’t gotten around to announcing, but Grim Fandango Remastered finally got me out of my chair and into my other chair to make an announcement. So yeah, the remastered version, by Doublefine, is available for free. Doublefine also have done a remaster of Day of the Tentacle and created Psychonauts. According to reviews, the remaster still has a lot of bugs in it, but eh, I’m sure it’s fine. Plus, free games, right? Get Grim Fandango Remastered here.

As far as I’m concerned, everyone should know how to cook for themselves. A free Half-Life mod with a single player campaign by an ex-Valve developer? Why, yes please. OB64 PTS Update #5 is up. Cards now have ten levels, with the old Level 1 being the new Level 2, old Level 3 being the new level 6, so on and so forth. Every player likes card customization. Thus, the first thing to go is meaningful card customization. Bravo. Implementing this five-points per card, twenty-five-points per loadout system, aside from causing hilariously broken and unbalanced cards that allows characters to deal around 23k burst damage when the maximum possible effective champion health is 5500 demolishes any meaningful customization.
