After so damn long, I finally managed to finish A Mythical Discovery, the special research in Pokemon Go for Mew. I got stuck on this quest so many damn times. But it all finished very abruptly and probably in the best way possible. So the Mew quest is a bit of a funny one, and is actually a requirement if you want to do the Celebi quest. September 22nd, between midday and 3pm across the world, was Chikorita Community Day. The green, grassy, derpy, flowery, generation 2 starter Pokemon began spawning all over the place, with any third form evolutions gaining a unique attack if evolved during that time and a higher chance to obtain shinies. You know what? My shitty luck aside, I don’t mind the RNG in Pokemon GO. I don’t mind the rather random research, the minuscule chances to even see a shiny, the random stuff from Gyms and Pokestops.
