The Lords of Brewer’s Grove – A Pathfinder Campaign

Hi, there! I’m the temp writer and sibling of the almighty blog overlord; you can call me Skully. I’m currently running a 5th edition Pathfinder campaign with Medic, our brother and my boyfriend and I’m going to share a rough synopsis of our current predicament. First of all, let me introduce everyone. Medic is playing Rhyn’Go AmWoluff, a timid but spiritual Kitsune Druid with a wolf companion named Floof Greymayne. On Roleplaying, Part 2

Medic recently published an article discussing the pastime of play-by-post roleplaying games. I’ve also been participating in RPs for the better part of my online career (so much that I’m one of those users in the example screenshot on the Wikipedia page I just linked), and I highly recommend that any budding writers give it a try. My original forays into roleplaying go back to when I used to run Budding Writers, a small writing forum. We didn’t really do much proper roleplaying, it… [Continue Reading]

Why I like TESV:Skyrim

I love Skyrim. Right now, it’s competing with Garry’s Mod as to which game deserves more of my attention, and Skyrim is winning by a mile. Why though? I’m not normally a fan of RPGs or even single player games. Most of the games I’ve played are multiplayer games with a single player mode on the side, or they’re really old games for Playstation One and Two. Skyrim’s actually one of the more unusual, yet somehow more stereotypical games in my played library. By stereotypical, I mean, almost everyone likes Skyrim. The people who don’t are generally people who feel… [Continue Reading]
