The Cheese Limbo Build for Scarlet Spear I Wish I’d Found Earlier

By the time this article is published, Scarlet Spear will be over. It was a long, drawn out event, but what took hours in the beginning was quickly reduced to pretty simple strategy. I went from needing an hour or more to do 17 Condrix to being able to do it with a half-decent team of randoms in about 25 minutes. I ran into a lot of nice players and now have more people to regularly play with. But my secret is that I found a good build that could potentially carry any Condrix mission. What about Murex though? No,… [Continue Reading]

How Would Corpus Kuva Liches Even Work?

As with everything in Warframe, we always get a Grineer version of a thing first, followed by a Corpus version. This has been the case for ages. For example, we got the Plains of Eidolon, which is Grineer, then later on we got Fortuna, which is Corpus. The same will happen with Railjack and, eventually, Kuva Liches. But how would Corpus Liches even work? At first, this seems like an easy question to answer. You just have randomly generated Corpus enemies, the same way you do for Grineer Liches. The process would be similar too. You have your Parazon, you… [Continue Reading]

The Death of the Blast Proc on Warframe Weapons

Blast was always my favourite element in Warframe. While Corrosive, Viral and Gas were all more useful, Blast was the most fun element. It was great. You’d mix it with Corrosive to stun enemies and knock them down. In the distance past, it could be mixed with weapons like the Sonicor for ragdoll fun. But with the Warframe Revised update, Blast was utterly destroyed. The Blast Proc is dead. The current Blast Proc is bad. Now, instead of knocking enemies down, Blast damage now decreases enemy accuracy. And it doesn’t even do a very good job of it. One Blast… [Continue Reading]

Is Warframe Dying? Yes, No, Maybe?

Simply put, Warframe’s most recent update, Scarlet Spear, was NOT well received. In fact, most players have somewhat disliked it! Even I, someone who tolerates a lot of things, found the update to be mostly bad. Bad enough to write a couple of unhappy articles about it. But the problems with Scarlet Spear bring another question. Is Warframe dying? Is it slowly declining? To be honest, I’m not sure. You an answer that question in a lot of ways. Is Warframe itself dying? Well, no. Not really. While things look pretty bad, especially from a normal player’s outlook, I won’t… [Continue Reading]

The Problems with Mobile Defense

Mobile Defense is probably one of the least-played mission types in Warframe. While it isn’t nearly as forgotten as things like Infested Salvage or as hated as Defection, Mobile Defense isn’t popular. On the surface, the mission type seems simple, but there’s more to mission types than being easy to do. Mobile Defense itself is fine. But it has issues. Let’s have a look at them. The missions are slow Mobile Defense missions are, by default, slow as heck. You spend your time waiting for the Lotus (or Ordis or whatever) to hack into a terminal while you stop said… [Continue Reading]

The Arbiters of Hexis are Sentients. Potentially. Maybe. Possibly?

Out of all the Syndicates we know nothing about, we know by far the least about the Arbiters of Hexis. While we have gained tidbits and even quests for other Syndicates over the years, the Arbiters of Hexis just sort of sit in their corner, being grumpy and justice-y. There’s almost no insight about them what so ever. So, because we have no Arbiters of Hexis lore, I have to make up my own theories as to what they are! I’ve come to the conclusion that they are Sentient spies. Or at least Sentient-related. Now, this seems like a very… [Continue Reading]

On Soloing Murex and Condrix

If you follow the SPUF of Legend, you may have seen that there was a sudden burst of activity. After a long drought, I managed to upload a bunch of videos, all about Scarlet Spear. While two of them were showcasing the new cinematic and the new simulacrum, two of them were about soloing the Scarlet Spear missions. Let’s talk about that. Now, I’ve already spoken about soloing these missions and how it’s not worth doing. Despite being somewhat easy, the missions are long and tedious. Playing them solo, as I mentioned in my previous article, makes the missions even… [Continue Reading]

The Sentients are Bastards

The Sentients are bastards. There, I said it. While maybe insulting the next biggest threat is probably a bad idea, I want to point out that the Sentients are bastards and they could have stopped all of this. There never had to be a new war. Or, really, an old war. But here we are, fighting Sentients. But what ARE Sentients? The Sentients are an AI race created by Orokin engineers, who were designed to go to the “Tau system to prepare it for Orokin rule”. They were given the ability to adapt, build and terraform and were sent to… [Continue Reading]

The Split Flights Mod

On 27th March 2020, Baro Ki’Teer appeared with a brand new mod that cost 300 Ducats. This mod had been seen before, accidentally leaked via Transmuting. But it remained without a proper release for a very long time until people could get it normally. The mod in question is Split Flights, a mod specifically for Bows. Now, we get mods for specific weapon types all the time, but why is am I writing an article about this one? Well, I feel like it’s fundamentally flawed. Split Flights is simple at first. Whenever you hit an enemy, you get +100% Multishot… [Continue Reading]

Why Operation Scarlet Spear is Bad

From my point of view, Operation Scarlet Spear isn’t very good. I’m not going to claim that it’s the worst thing ever, because that’s not true at all. But there are a number of problems that need to be talked about. And rather than getting all angry about everything, I’m going to go through each of these problems one by one. Like I said before though, I’m not going to mention bugs. Bugs can be fixed. There are fundamental flaws with this event though, and those can’t be fixed. The Lore is all wrong Firstly, the lore is all wrong.… [Continue Reading]
